Default ? about editing photos of scrapbook pages

There was a thread a few weeks ago about taking better photos of your cards, pages and projects for uploading to the gallery. I thought I subscribed but apparently i didn't. Someone was talking about a way to edit pictures of 12x12 layouts where you can tip the angle so your pages dont look like a trapezoid, kwim? Is this a typical program or one you have to purchase? Which programs accompolish this, whats the name of the feature you use and how do you use it?

Can anyone direct me to the link? The thread was about taking great photos and talked about making light box's with cheap supplies on hand.
