Customer of the Year
I placed an order with Viva Las Vegastamps on the fouth of February. I hadn't heard from them and was getting ready to send them an email to find out the status of my order.
When this showed up in my inbox.
~Emily Ann
Dear Mrs Emily Ann,
The status of your order id: ***** - ***** has been changed to Completed
Our staff have added the following comments:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your order was gently taken from our shelves with sterilized, contamination-free gloves and placed lovingly onto a satin pillow.
A team of six cats and six dogs inspected your product to make sure it was in the best possible condition before shipping.
Our Packing Specialist lit a candle and a hush fell over the entire Viva Las Vegastamps! staff of well-trained cats and dogs as he checked for any stray dog or cat hairs before putting your product into the finest recycled packaging that money can't buy. We LOVE saving trees so don't be surprised if your order comes in a frozen dinner or cereal box stuffed with waste paper we've shredded! Before we shred paper, we use all possible sides and corners. In fact, your rubber was cooked by the sun as we use Solar Energy to power our Manufacturing Plant! The ONLY thing we don't skimp on is the quality of our rubber stamps and stamping accessories. ONLY the best will do for our customers so buy from us with the confidence that we've been satisfying our loyal customers for over 16 years!
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards complete with party hats and the whole staff (including the six cats and six dogs who are really the ones in charge) are set to march down the fabulous Las Vegas Strip where the entire City of Las Vegas (including Elvis impersonators) will wave Bon Voyage to your package.
We hope you had a wonderful time shopping with us. We sure did enjoy receiving your order. Your picture is on our wall as Customer Of The Year. We are all exhausted but can hardly wait for you to come back to shop with us again soon. If you have some time to play and share, come join us on our new Viva Las Vegastamps! Stamping Forum at http://www.stampostore.com/forum/ where you can meet other stampers and also upload your creations with our stamps to our Gallery for all to enjoy. see you there!
too funny! I too was getting ready to email them as I placed my order on Feb. 3rd and still haven't heard and it still says processing. I guess I will have to be patient a bit longer.......11 days does seem a bit too long to wait until something actually ships though. Thanks for sharing!
That is so funny!! I just checked them out. Has anyone ever bought one of the grab bags? Just wondering if it is really a good deal of a bunch of junk.
I have ordered a few grab bags. There were lots of stamps I liked and several I had no use for, but for the price it was worth it. I joined in with several other stampers and we exchanged our unwanted stamps with each other - very cool!
Thanks for sharing - what a great story!! I (along with many others, I'm guessing!) am now off to visit their website... with an attitude like that, it's a company I want to find out more about. And if I order from them, I wonder what my four cats will think of the package when they get a sniff of it !!
lol! I got it too - and I thought the same, I love working with people who have a sense of humour and have more than a soft spot for green issues! I have even tracked my parcel, and its only one state away now (though it did go west to come east:confused: ) might have to round up a few dogs and cats to greet the package ... I think I should have organised a welcoming party for this great event :lol:
And he's not kidding about the furbabies either. He always has a bunch of cats and dogs (he loves Bishons) in the shop. The last time I visited, the cat sat on the register and didn't want me to check out. This cat followed me throughout the entire store. Very cool place :cool: and worth a look see when in Vegas. Not far from the strip either.
Maybe after I get my package I will post as to the packing material used.
Right now I am getting ready to welcome the package, bought my own satin pillow and have been working on my best Elvis impersonation, "Thank You, Thank You Very Much!"
Package Has Arrived!
Here are a couple of pictures of the packaging and the stamps. As promised he did use recycled packaging. The candy box says that it's perfect for sharing!
I am particularly happy with the stamp that says "No, it's not Hallmark but thanks for looking!" A while back I had emailed Viva Las Vegastamps and asked if they had a stamp that said exactly that. He emailed me back and said "No, but I will!" And they do!
And yes, the plastic fly was in my package. Scared the bejeebers out of me when it came out of the box!
I got that email, too. My last order came in a Triscuit box. I've ordered the grab bags--good value for the money, though I have some I didn't want ready to sell on ebay when I get around to listing stuff. I also really like their sticky tape and dispensers. Almost as sticky as red line tape and way cheaper.
My order was shipped in a Stouffer's chicken pot pie box. My husband (who didn't know I ordered anything) asked me what was in the box. He thought they were nuts! And I almost screamed when the plastic fly flew out of the box. . .I was so excited that I ripped the box apart and it really flew out! :eek:
I am super happy with how fast everything was shipped and the quality of their stamps! I definitely plan to visit the store when I go to Vegas next week.
How do I see what the 'sayings' stamps read? They only show part of them, and they all look like they'd be SO funny!
