Hi Im Sandie, I live in Swindon in the UK, married to Richard and a SAHM to 3 children aged 13, 9 and 3. Ive been scrapbooking since July 2005, after being introduced to it by a friend. Previously to that Id been making cards for around 3.5 years. I was adamant I wasnt going to scrapbook, but after taking a class, I was hooked!
I am so excited to have been asked to come here and set you all a challenge! I am not an avid stamper, and this has given me the opportunity to look at my stamps again, and do something creative with them, so thank you!!!
My challenge to you is to create a border using your stamps, as you can see from my example I have chosen a stamp which I can also 3-D. I cant wait to see what you come up with!
I am posting on my Mums behalf, because for some reason she couldn't upload her photo
Hi My name is Julia,
I am really thrilled to be here on SCS. I have been scrapbooking since the summer of 2007 after nearly 7 years of card making.
I think I have a bit of a love hate relationship with stamps. I do love them BUT I feel that I dont use them to their best advantage and I have recently sold some of my HUGE collection
I would love to use them more in my layouts but I think the stamps I would use now would be very different to the ones I used in my card making.
Anyway I have used 5 different stamps on my layout and I challenge you to use 5 or more different stamps on your art project, be it a layout a card or an altered item.
I cant wait to try both of these challenges out! I have a scrapbook weekend planned and hope to have a bunch done when I return on Monday morning! Whoo Hoo!
I really liked Sandie's layout so I scraplifted it for another page using both challenges again -- stamped border and using more than 5 stamps. I don't often hide the journaling but this one I did and I like the look!
Here is my layout for Julia's challenge. This is a Becky Higgins layout and has lots of pictures so I counted my BG wheeling as one stamp - hope that's okay! I was really wanting to add a fleur de lis or two but I resisted ;).
This is my first time doing this challange but couldn't refuse. . .
Here is mine: Animals of the Zoo
