I purchased some goodies this morning but voted anyway, couldn't get on last night and still couldn't register for the freebies at 6 a.m. Will try again later at work, but am prepared to give up on dream of winning...very skeptical about site working to do so. Bummer, my first party too :?

Joan, I didn't participate in the poll (haven't spent stamping money since 12/22....), BUT I was wondering if you bought from Papertrey last night???
Kathy
No, I did not. In fact, one of the reason I sent in my papers to re sign under SU was to give me a focus on my spending. So, I looked (really nice stuff!) but didn't buy. I still haven't used some of my previously purchased must have PTI stamps!

You sent in your SU! resign papers??? (see, and I'm thinking this is my last SU! quarter, I don't need enough to make the minimum and there is so much other stuff I want to try, and I can't afford both....)
I didn't buy last night as I'm in the UK and midnight EST is the time when I'm snug in bed fast asleep. As much as I love PTI I ain't getting out of bed THAT early!
I love the matching CS and ribbons and inks but have decided I mustn't indulge in the CS as it will be so expensive to ship to the UK. But an occasional 6"x6" pad of patterned paper will find itself in my cart from time to time I shouldn't wonder!
And I absolutely, positively will have to have those Polka Dots. I'm happy to wait to place my order though.
I bought the new ink, new cardstock, patterned paper, and Everyday Blessings. I love the white cardastock so had to get this stuff!
This is almost exactly what I had in my cart at about 5am (I had some ribbon instead of white card stock) but it wouldn't recognize my Paypal account so I have to try later on!

I love all the new Paper Trey stuff but never purchase on the first day. So I wait and then see what's left after the dust settles. I don't like to backorder stuff and like to know exactly what I'm getting when I place my order.
Now that I think of it -- I'm the same way in brick & mortar stores - I never go during big sales or when I know there will be a crowd.
But I do plan on ordering the new matching papers, inks, ribbons, etc. Not totally over the moon with the stamp sets this time but am thrilled that they are coming out with all of the matching stuff. I think PTI is an awesome company and love what they have created in one year! Very impressive.
I will definitely order, but my new year's resolution was to eliminate impulse buys, which means staying safely asleep during PTI release parties, LOL!
Nichole is a genius and will be getting my money for sure, but I'm being very careful about what I add to my already overflowing collection.... But Everyday Blessings will definitely be useful for me.
No, I didn't order, but as soon as I run out of my current stash of white papers (maybe another year) I will try some of their white paper, since I've heard SO MANY great things about it!

I ordered both color collections, 2 of the 6x6 pads of paper, Shapes by Design, Women of Life, and Everyday Blessings. I can't wait to make a TON of cards when it all arrives! I PROMISED myself after last year's church craft boutique that I wouldn't leave stuff until the last minute. I've already got over 100 cards to sell.....and it's not until October! YEAH me! Now I just have to start my Christmas cards early!
I bought all of the ribbon, the aqua mist paper andink.I also bought the pola dot stamp set. This was an awesome collection.I ordered at 12:15 am and had no trouble with odering.i quess i was justlucky. i wish I was lucky enough to win the collection
I got the ink pads and cardstock as well as Everyday Blessings. I'm going to make a set of cards for dd's school auction. Oh, I should add that I ordered this morning around 7:00 and didn't have any trouble either.

I absolutely love all the papertrey hype- the projects and stamps are all amazing. But I've never bought anything from them- it just doesn't fit into my budget or "needs". I don't stay up for the reveal, but check the blog everyday for the countdown.

Ok, I bought this morning the 2 colors of cardstock, ink and grosgrain ribbon along with the 6x6 pad and the Women of Life set....and I have sold every Papertrey stamp set I have ever bought so I dont know why I did this........besides that I needed some Stampers Select white and needed to get free shipping????
I bought some things this morning (and my internet was out for a while.....causing some major panic!!) I bought the polka-dot set, some ribbon, ink and card stock. So excited.....I've been on a PTI spending freeze for a few months!!
I bought a couple of stamp sets this morning along with some patterned paper. I can't stay up that late for the initial reveal but I've never had anything sold out if I wait until morning to buy.
I bought each of the colored card stock packs plus a patterned paper set (6x6) and Butterfly Kisses (again - I traded this with someone just recently but realized I do like this set). I wasn't able to stay up for the reveal as I've been sick for the last week so I placed my order this morning.

I think by them having SOOO many choices I decided to ignore all of them this time. I'm also in the minority who doesn't like the colors they chose for their perfect match debut. I do like the women of life set, but I'm afraid it will be somewhat limiting for me.
This time I spent a little more than I usually do because I wanted the new colors. I think once the dreary weather starts disappearing they will be a welcoming change to create with. I only bought 2 out of the 3 stamp sets but was tempted to buy everyday blessings but I could only see my self using 3 stamps total so I thought it was best to pass that one. If you waited to shop today " Happy Shopping!"
So far nothing. I really do love the Everyday Blessings set -- the quotes and scriptures are wonderful, the crosses I wouldn't use. I'm trying to decide if I should really get it. Last night I was all set to place an order and the the kiddos needed me and I didn't get back to the computer. This morning I have a lot more willpower! I know I'll pass on the cardstock, ribbon and paper --- I'm not ready to add another line of stuff to the abundance of SU stuff I already own. Maybe if the colors become more me, then I might be in trouble!
I have spent nothing with Papertrey this month. I guess I am the second person who doesn't like the colors they released this month. They are pretty, but I know that I would never use them. I wasn't thrilled with the stamp sets either. I love the flowers in Alli's stamp set, but I don't like the sentiments at all. The polka dot set is the only one that I can see myself using, but I'll give it another month or two to see if I feel the same way.
:o)
I bought both colors in the paper and grosgrain, a pack of white(love that stuff!), and the Women of Life set. I love those flowers and I make lots of cards for my female in-laws, so the words will come in very handy! I was so on the fence about the Polka Dot set. I really love polka dots. But I was trying to limit how much I spent. It was either the set or the paper/ribbon. I am bummed the stitched ribbon wasn't ready yet. I really wanted some of that! Next time. Can't wait to get my anniversary set!
I bought way too much of it! I bought three sets, both sets of paper, both inks, and the satin ribbon. My husband even talked me into getting the Everyday Blessings set, which I wasn't planning on getting. He knows how much I love to make cards, so he wanted to give me an extra special Valentine's Day.

I placed my first PTI order this morning. I got the polka dots, mixed messages and the white cardstock. Enough to qualify for the free shipping. I can't wait to get my order.
I bought my first every clear stamp set, Everyday Blessings. I also bought the starter set of acrylic blocks and 2 packages of the stamper's select white cardstock that I've read so much about. I've been wanting to try clear stamps and when I saw that set, I knew I had to get it.
I haven't yet, but I plan to in the next week or so! I NEED the everyday blessings set and the inkpads! I haven't decided yest what else I NEED as opposed to just want!
I don't tell my dh what I spend on my crafts because I feel he is on a need to know basis. So, last night my ds had a hockey game and as soon as the game was over I hightaled it home to place my order. So, DH beats me home and proceeds to get on the computer and starts to surf. Ugh, (he has no idea that I need to get to the computer) I sit quietly by and pretend that I'm watching TV. I waited until he got bored and then he went to the basement to play video games. I then ordered Aqua Mist Collection, Spring Moss Collection, Shapes By Design Stamp Set, Polka Dot Basics Stamp Set,
Everyday Blessings & Patterned Paper 6"X6". I can't wait for my goodies to arrive.
I have no idea if I actually got registered for the contest because I think it crashed right in the middle of me registering.

I am sooo excited about my first PTI order!! I placed my order this morning-Everyday Blessings, Polka Dots, Aqua Mist Collection (not a fan of green, so the other set didn't get into my cart), some of those darling Egg Boxes and the stamp set to match, plus some white cardstock! But man, I don't think I can justify shopping at PTI every month-the$23 shipping to Canada plus the wait is going to kill me!!
I put my wish list together...and it's $176. but one of the stamp sets is out of stock, so think I'll wait. I too am thinking this will be my last quarter as an SU demo. I just can't afford everything. :(
I am putting together my wish list. I was fortunate to win one of the new sets, (yay!!!!) but there are a few things in addition to that I would like to try. I really, really like the fact the 6x6 pad is scaled down for card making. And I have to toss a coin to pick the other stamp set I would like because the budget only goes so far!
