I tried to answer this, but I cannot pick just one.
I only buy sets that have 3 or more uses, so all of mine get used regularly. I have about 53 current sets (including SAB). I just made 47 valentines, each one using a different set...
Welcome to the addiction!

Oh girl, if I could order from the UK catty, it'd be Cheers For You. Mixed Bouquet isn't current here anymore, but it's one I will keep and use forever.
Mine would have to be Lovely as a Tree - I've used it for birthdays and Christmas a number of times, and I can think up some other occasions to use it in the future. It's very versatile, and it's easy to use.
Short and Sweet for sentiments (and you can lots of other fun stuff with it too) and Baroque Motifs - that flourish can be used with many things, same with the flourishes in Priceless. Have fun!
I just saw your thread so I thought I would respond. I would have to say my favorites that I always have out are Roses in Winter and Priceless. I have a TON of stamps, almost 200, and those get inked the most. Oh, and Garden Silhouettes and Stem Silhouettes are my second favorites! They are very versatile! But, honestly, there aren't any sets in the catalogs that you can go wrong with! They are all wonderful and useful! Happy Stamping!!!
This is hard to answer. I just recently broke out all my sets into categories so I don't use one particular set as a whole. I have a lot of retired sets, sets from mini catalogs and sale-a-brations (sp) so I don't know if what use will help you pick out any of your sets but for flowers I do tend to go to my Delight in Life as I do like the versatility of that set. Lovely as a Tree is always good for most anything. I do have a few that I should use more often like some of the images from Botanicals set. Background Basics is something I use on many of my cards because when you need that little something to give your card some oomph, a little splatter of color here and there or some tone-on-tone background dots does wonders.
I would have to say Roses in Winter is my alltime favorite set! It's so versatile and elegant. Also love Peaceful Wishes which I don't have, but my friend lets me borrow hers!
