I used red and turquoise last year. Sorry I don't have a picture, but the card base was red, image stamped on white with a turquoise mat & turquoise ribbon. My DD is not into pink. We cased a valentine from the 2005 Idea Book.
i used a light lavender/darker purple combo with part covered in flowered paper.
also light green/pink combo
also, I did a card that has a sort of Andy Warhol look with 6 vibrant colored squares none of which are pink or red.

I will second the Pomegranate and Choco Chip! I am making hubby's card with these colors, and it is an absolutely gorgeous combo! Makes me think if raspberry truffles - perfect for Valentines! :mrgreen:
