I've looked back several days in search of the person who bought the square doweling (need the size), gave the length of wood for each stamp then cut apart the sayings to have a multitude of stamps.
Does anybody know what I'm talking about and can either lead me to the blog or the thread?
I'm not sure if this is the link you're looking for but it's one I have bookmarked that shows the size dowel rods you need to buy to mount the sayings individually, and how she did it (got this set a couple of months ago but still haven't gotten around to splitting it up, so thanks for the reminder, too!) http://stampwithdiane.blogspot.com/2...rextended

Ditto on the dominos. I think the ones I got were $6 at Big Lots. They came in a tin which can be redecorated. They fit back in the same box the original stamps came in and I have leftover dominoes to play around with. Also no cutting (of wood) required.
I just did this yesterday, but I completely unmounted mine and then put them on the thin EZ Mount so I could then store them in a CD case. I'll simply use an acrylic block when I need to use them. Since they are so small I really like the idea of them being on a clear block so I can see exactly where I am stamping it.
I also split mine on Wednesday (although I wish I'd seen this thread and the wood idea first) - I was going to unmount but decisded they were a little too thin. I mounted mine on blocks left over from a set I had unmounted. On some blocks, I ended up putting 1 phrase on each side of the block with the label for the other side -
Does anybody know if EZ Mount is called that in Canada too? I've never gone this route, so it's more a curiousity question. I keep passing on all these ideas to my friend, though.
Thanks, Linda, for posting the link to my blog! I really loved mounting my so many saying set on the square dowels. The dowels had the same feel as wood blocks and because they were just narrow enough for the phrases I had no problems with wobbling. Plus all of my stamps fit back into their box with room to spare. I can't wait to use the same mounting method on the Many Happy returns set!
I'm afraid of wobbly too - also, how to you cut them so that there isn't a line above/below when you stamp? I always get a line! Do I need to cut at an angle or closer to the words?

You shouldn't cut your stamps at an angle - something to do with undercutting the foam. With this set, you're pretty tight for cutting so I don't know how you could cut any closer. I know with some of my other stamps I haven't cut close enough so I do get a line. If you haven't done it yet, invest in the the S/U craft and rubber scissors. I was getting by with regular scissors, then when I got these it was a difference of night and day. It was like cutting through butter - it was amazing.
The other thing I find is that I get lines if I overink. I like to hold my stamp rubber side up and tap the stamp pad onto the stamp (instead of tapping the stamp on the pad). Does that make sense? I always look at the cut edges before I stamp to make sure there's no ink where I don't want it.
Don't know if any of that has helped you, or maybe others have suggestions for you as well.

I think so - I bought some at the Creative Festival in the fall from an company from Quebec, and that is what it was called. I know I have seen it on Canadian web stores, but not sure which one!
Hi...if you check out my blog under the information section you will see I cut and mounted both the sets Many Happy Returns and So Many Sayings...and I love it...no wobbling.
