I'm wondering...what kind of cards do you make most often? Is there a certain occasion that you end up making cards for more than others? What kind of cards are you giving the most?
No real reason why I posted...just wondering if there is a type of card that is made and given out most :-D
If you select other...please post what kind of card!

That's a lovely idea. I love this site. I learn so much and have so many forehead-smacking moments when I think to myself "why didn't I think of that?"
I usually make a lot of *just because* cards for family, friends and moms in my children's playgroup. Birthdays are the next most commonly made by me.

Most cards that I make are not for a specific holiday. I keep them more generic. I like to give them for friendship, encouragement and to thank people.

i make reason/season/theme cards for my family and friends when needed...
i make a variety of cards to sell. some are obvious as to a reason/season/theme but most of them could be used for any reason.
i leave all my cards blank inside so the sender can add what ever sentiment they want to. when i am the sender sometimes i will stamp a sentiment inside or just had write what ever i want.
I make a ton of birthday cards. This year my goal was to give everyone I work with at school a card on their birthday. February is going to kill me because there is a birthday EVERYDAY! I've been a busy girl!
I make all kinds, but the ones I like to send to friends are funny ones. Just for fun, no special reason! I love the reactions from the recipients! Email is great, but nothing can beat a personal greeting in my book. I also save cards that I receive---they're fun to look at again, later!
I checked birthday but then realized no, it is Christmas. I think in 2007 I made 55 to 60 Christmas cards. I don't make that many birthday! I am needing to work on "just because" cards to have on hand as I like to send those but never have one ready when I need one.
lately, I have been making lots of sympathy cards. I make tons of thank yous - I love to thank friends and family for their kindnesses and what better way than one of my cards!
As mentioned, I make a variety of cards that can be used for dfferent occasions. I put Thinking of You or somehting like that on lots, they can be used in a variety of ways. Then lots of Christmas, but that's seasonal.
I didn't actually vote because I didn't know what to put!
I make more of a variety of all occasion cards but since I made tons of Christmas cards for family and for the troops I had to vote for that. I prefer to make one of a kind cards for either birthdays or thank yous. kwim

I voted "other" because I make "general" cards that I can stamp any sentiment on the inside later. Sometimes I'll make specific cards for birthdays or something but usually just generic ones.

I usually need birthday, thank you, and friendship cards (which would include humorous, encouragement and get well type), so those are mostly the ones I make for personal use!

I have a little shop in work (ie a shoe box!) so I mostly make birthday and try to keep a stock of sympathy and thank you cards too ... and a smaller stock of baby, new home, etc. etc.
They certainly keep me busy anyway (and help to pay for new crafty goodies too!!)
I would also make a more general type of card with cats, dogs, etc on them and donate them to my local animal sanctuary
I picked other because I mostly make Thinking of you/Remembering you in prayer cards for my Church's card ministry. I do make Sympathy cards as well, and an assortment of other ones for my mother in law or for birthday presents.
I voted other because i have 11 soon to be 12 GC. I make all holiday cards for them and gifts. I have a very large family so lots of birthdays and general. Also all Christmas. I belong to the tray guild for our hospital, i make cards for them( for the month of Jan. i turned in 150).
Most of the time I don't put a sentiment on them so that I can adapt them for any occasion as I need them. Of course Christmas cards are a given, they'd be at the top of my list because you need so many. I didn't count those because I just make them during the season.
I voted other. While I do make all the options listed, I tend to make more "thinking of you" or just "hi" cards . . . cards that I can send anytime I want to.
My kids are 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 and both in pre-school. I swear we are at a birthday party every other weekend for one of their schoolmates! Thiss coming weekend is Chuck E Cheese ( which believe it or not, we have managed to have NEVER gone to yet!) So a lil girl bday card is on the agenda for today.
