I got my demo/starter kit today. Woooohooooooo!!
I'll have to call SU in the morning and see if I can get my demo number (as it's not on any of the paperwork).
Just have to say that their turn around time was fabulous. One week. AND, I got to pick my bonus stamp pad set.

What stamp sets did you wind up going with? I love the Heartfelt Thanks and the Loads of Love, but I'm wavering on the other ones.
Linda
I kept Loads of Love and Heartfelt Thanks.
I also kept the two phrase sets.
But, I already have Simple Shapes (the bigger set in the catty), so I really didn't want the Shape-Ups; instead, I chose Trick or Treat.
And, instead of Greetings Galore, I got Travel Post (because I liked theold-timey feel).
I also did the scrapbook add-on, so I got the Uppercase Whimsical Alphabet.

When did you send in your paperwork to sign up? I mailed mine out last Monday evening. Wondering when I can expect my demo kit. I also will get the stamp pads and I ordered the scrapbooking package too. I'm hoping this weekend to receive two workshop orders that I had placed before I decided to join SU. Wow, I'm going to have lots of great new stuff. YIKES! I'd better clean up my scrapping room.
Karen
I've been getting things ready for this great new adventure too and I didn't send my paperwork in until Thursday. It will probably take me at least a week to get things the way I want them so I can have more people into my stamp room. The trouble is I keep buying more stuff to organize things and my dh says it is too crowded now oh well what does he know.
If you look inside your folder of all the info there should be a index sized card with your id# but you will have to call DS to get a password for the 1st time to get into the website. Congratulations on signing up! I took the plunge in April with the $30 off! Have fun!
Welcome to the group.

oh yeah, my recent recruit got a temporary website password on the same card that has her demo ID # on it.
LOL, I was just going to add that....both the demo number and temporary password should be inside the folder that came with the kit. When I got mine I had already BEEN on the website, because I'd called DS and gotten my demo number a few days earlier. Patience.....not my middle name.
So, if you've sent your paperwork in, go ahead and call them if you just can''t wait for your kit to arrive. That way you'll be able to get on the demo website a few days earlier and scope things out ahead of time.

I didn't have a small card in my folder. Just magazines, the start-up info, and a few other things.
But, Josh at SU Demo Services was very helpful and had all the info for me in minutes.

Congrats!! When I signed up in January I didn't have a card in my folder either, but I already had called SU and was on the site a week before I got my starter kit... and was able to track my starter kit then too

Congratulations!!!! You have excited me more than I am already- just got my demo info yesterday and was wondering when I should start pacing by the mailbox- guess I won't have to with the quick turn around! Enjoy!
well for those waiting you could always call Demo Support and get your demo # at least then you could start surfing the SU website not to mention applying here to join the demo only forums that are full of information!!!
I've been thinking about taking the plunge for a while. What is the "stamp pad deal" that you all are referring to and how much product is in the start-up kit?
I signed up for my demo kit and it hasn't come yet - I am trying to be patient though - I had gotten it from my mom's Demonstrator in Kansas - and I had to mail my demo kit paper and stuff like that to her - so it took a little longer. I think I will call the DS though to get my demo # - I didn't know you could do that - thanks for the helpfull info.
Full-size or stampin-spots? And what comes in the kit?
it is a full sized color family of pads... a $54.95 value!! The starter kit contains: Heartfelt Thanks ($28.95) Greetings Galore ($28.95)Loads of Love ($19.95), Shape Up's ($11.95), Quick Thinking ($12.95) Much Appreciated ($12.95), Watercolor Wheel Joy ($5.95) then you get a wheel handle, ink cartridge (can choose color), Stampin Pastels, 2 pkgs assorted color cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, SNAIL adhesive, Craft and Rubber Scissors, Stampin Scrub, Stampin Mist, Versamark pad, Blender Pens, Black ink pad and choice of 5 more colors (so with special you get basically 18 ink pads!!!) Then you get your business supplies with it: 8 catalogs, First Impressions and Getting started DVD's, Getting started folder guide, 100 guest invitation postcards, 8 seasonal mini catty's, Heartfelt thanks inspiration sheets, To my hostess envelopes, Recruit folders and brochures, Demonstrator Manual CD, Independant Demonstrator agreement, Starter kit forms, Hostess Benefit forms, Customer order forms, and exchange order forms.
Then for $50 you can add on the scrapbook option:
Linen Post Album / 6 x 6 Brag Book* can choose color
Assorted color card stock (12 x 12)* can choose color
Pure & Simple Alphabet Upper* can choose different same price
Simply Scrappin* can choose different same price
Craft Stampin Pad* can choose color
Tag Sheets* can choose color
Stampin Write Journaler* Can choose color
Now for the ink pads in the kit you can change what ones you want but they have to be equal or lesser value too.
I saw someone posted that they were able to track their packages and see exactly when there demo kit was coming. I did call stampin up DS and found out my demo # and my password and got on the website but couldn't see anywhere as to how you find out about items that have shipped. Can anyone help with this? I would like to know if I am getting my starter kit in the next couple of days or not. Thanks, michelle
