Default I GOT MY DEMO KIT!! :)

Holy big boxes, Batman!!

I got my demo/starter kit today. Woooohooooooo!!
I'll have to call SU in the morning and see if I can get my demo number (as it's not on any of the paperwork).

Just have to say that their turn around time was fabulous. One week. AND, I got to pick my bonus stamp pad set.

What stamp sets did you wind up going with? I love the Heartfelt Thanks and the Loads of Love, but I'm wavering on the other ones.

I kept Loads of Love and Heartfelt Thanks.
I also kept the two phrase sets.
But, I already have Simple Shapes (the bigger set in the catty), so I really didn't want the Shape-Ups; instead, I chose Trick or Treat.
And, instead of Greetings Galore, I got Travel Post (because I liked theold-timey feel).

I also did the scrapbook add-on, so I got the Uppercase Whimsical Alphabet.

When did you send in your paperwork to sign up? I mailed mine out last Monday evening. Wondering when I can expect my demo kit. I also will get the stamp pads and I ordered the scrapbooking package too. I'm hoping this weekend to receive two workshop orders that I had placed before I decided to join SU. Wow, I'm going to have lots of great new stuff. YIKES! I'd better clean up my scrapping room.

I've been getting things ready for this great new adventure too and I didn't send my paperwork in until Thursday. It will probably take me at least a week to get things the way I want them so I can have more people into my stamp room. The trouble is I keep buying more stuff to organize things and my dh says it is too crowded now oh well what does he know.

Default Your ID #

If you look inside your folder of all the info there should be a index sized card with your id# but you will have to call DS to get a password for the 1st time to get into the website. Congratulations on signing up! I took the plunge in April with the $30 off! Have fun!
Welcome to the group.

LOL, I was just going to add that....both the demo number and temporary password should be inside the folder that came with the kit. When I got mine I had already BEEN on the website, because I'd called DS and gotten my demo number a few days earlier. Patience.....not my middle name.

So, if you've sent your paperwork in, go ahead and call them if you just can''t wait for your kit to arrive. That way you'll be able to get on the demo website a few days earlier and scope things out ahead of time.

I didn't have a small card in my folder. Just magazines, the start-up info, and a few other things.

But, Josh at SU Demo Services was very helpful and had all the info for me in minutes.

I am still waiting patiently (read biting my nails, counting the minutes, checking the clock) for mine.

Wouldn't you know that after a two week vacation, it would come AFTER I go back to work!!!???!!!

Question

I've been thinking about taking the plunge for a while. What is the "stamp pad deal" that you all are referring to and how much product is in the start-up kit?

If you sign up to be a demo by the end of August, you get an entire color family of classic pads free! The demo kit is $199 plus tax.

Warning- SU has to actually have your forms in hand by Aug. 31, so you would need to submit prior.

My docs are going to SU on Friday!! I'm so excited- I can't wait to get my kit!!!

I signed up for my demo kit and it hasn't come yet - I am trying to be patient though - I had gotten it from my mom's Demonstrator in Kansas - and I had to mail my demo kit paper and stuff like that to her - so it took a little longer. I think I will call the DS though to get my demo # - I didn't know you could do that - thanks for the helpfull info.

When you received your kit, were the 8 mini catalogs the summer edition or the holiday edition?

I saw someone posted that they were able to track their packages and see exactly when there demo kit was coming. I did call stampin up DS and found out my demo # and my password and got on the website but couldn't see anywhere as to how you find out about items that have shipped. Can anyone help with this? I would like to know if I am getting my starter kit in the next couple of days or not. Thanks, michelle
