Hi there,
I am just wondering what you all are planning to do for Valentine projects?
I plan to use the My Punny valentine stamp set by Papertrey and do a cello bag topper filled with nuts for my 4th grade daughter's classroom...and for my preschooler's class I will buy the white cd sleeves and wheel valentine hearts all over and go buy large cookies at the store to place inside.
What are you doing this year?
Amy
I ordered the SU! Valentine promotional package and I can't wait to get it and start creating. My 7 and 5 year olds are also excited. They love to stamp, especially when my Demo comes to visit because she gets creative with them. They refer to her as "the best stamper ever". She get's a kick out of that.
What does your demo do with them?
My 8 year old daughter loves to stamp but I am so picky about the mixing colors in inks and washing the stamps that it doesn't even end up being fun for her!
Sometimes I give an old stamp and old stamp pad to my 3 year old daughter and she stamps all over the paper, her arms, legs, clothes! LOL!
I have ordered Berry Bliss DP from SU and plan to cover nuggets - I will make the boxes and use acetate for the lid. Have also ordered Always so will use that for my cards. My demo will be delivering my stuff tomorrow - can't wait to play!!
I'm making a cardboard book that spells out "Amour" (means "love" in French). I got this idea from a scrapbook store in town. They had this really cute cardboard/chipboard book out that spelled "Love".
I didn't have any chipboard but I had the cardboard backs of my watercolour paper pads. Kids can use cereal box cardboard if they want and make their book spell anything like "Mom" etc.
I'm trying to come up with a heart shaped lollypop idea. Something small to give each person at my stamp camp or workshop. There about $1 a bag. They can be attached to a card also. If anyone comes up with a idea please post it. It would be cute with the Valentine bundle set.
I bought wooden boxes at Michaels for $1 (bought 15) then painted them red, white, and pink. I decorated the front and filled Valentine themed cello bags with treats, tied with curled ribbon and put in the box. I also found Valentine themed chinese take out boxes that I filled with M & M's. I fancied them up with dangling hearts and curly ribbon. Fun!
I found a great link tmccorm106 put on here under 'forums' 'downloads' and 'project instructions' for instructions to make acetate boxes. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I think they'd be fantastic for Valentine's for teachers . . filled with pink and red foil hearts . . Really ingenious - it's a complete page you can print out that gives instructions and a picture of the finished product.
TFS this is such a cute and simple way to give those little treats!

This is what I've made for DD#2 for her class Valentines. MFT Valentine Suckers by bambi64 at Splitcoaststampers As for DS... we might do the same or use Loads of Love and do something with that. Haven't decided yet.
I'm lucky and only have one kid in Preschool, so I don't have too much to do...but I should probably figure it out soon, right? I'll probably make some Nugget Tins for DD's teacher and Church teachers as well.
