fortune cookie pattern

I am looking for a pattern to make a 3d fortune cookie that I can put a fortune or sentiment inside. Does anyone have one of these? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I haven't see one of these, but when you make real (edible) ones you start with a circle...HTH.

I have a pattern for fabric ones, but it wouldn't work with stiff paper.

I don't remember where I saw it but yes the starting point is just a circle.

Roll the edges (almost but not quite edge to edge) together adhere and then when you fold back you might want to dampen the center a bit to give it some pliability for the fold over. The corner when folded up or back...I saw them tie with ribbon to keep it closed. I myself wold probably fish the ribbon through the opening and then tie it up.
I can't remember where I saw it but they person also tried it with a square and it looked pretty cool.

That reminds me, I did see this on a craft show, they used either cupcake liners, or coffee filters. Very lightweight paper.

I remember them using the cupcake cups too that was neat.

Here is what I did to make mine. I hope this helps all of you who are looking!

Use a 4" circle of Creamy Caramel. Fold in half, creasing the center line with a bone folder. Fold again forming a quarter circle but only crease line one inch out from the center point of the circle. Unfold to half circle shape. Use thumb to push center of circle inward while bringing two ends together. This should form a cookie shape. Fill with treats and/or message. Secure at center with a large glue dot.
