While in the hospital for surgery (hysterectomy...ouch!) my girls and husband repainted a spare bedroom and moved all of my crafting supplies upstairs from the basement! It was wonderful to come home to such a nice surprise! I am now two weeks post-op and am feeling like I can now actually do some organizing. I am fairly new to the scrapbooking/stamping craft but have started a nice collection of materials. I have four remaining weeks before I have to start back to work. I am looking forward to organizing my room. Thank you to all who have posted pictures of their craft rooms. The pictures have given me inspiration!
What a wonderful surprise to come home to and what a nice family you have. I hope you enjoy your time playing during the time you still have at home. Have some fun!
What a thoughtful, wonderful and beautiful surprise! That is so heart warming! I am glad that you are feeling better and hope that everything continues to go well for you!

Life after Hysterectomy is so wonderful! I hope you heal quickly and are able to get in your new stamping space very soon. How exciting is that!
Blessings!
What a great thing for them to do! My family (dh at least) is more like Karen's...he'd love nothing more than to park a big dumpster outside my craft room and haul it all away!
So glad you're recovering so nicely! I had mine when I was 39, and never regretted it. Just pace yourself these next 4 weeks, 'k? Don't lift too much!
What a great family. Watch out though, in a few months you may need a second room to store stuff. I don't know how it happens but it seems to multiply. Don't overdo it - get better.
