Come on. I know you have them too...
I bought this poodle stamp because it is THAT UGLY. I wanted to bring it home where it would be safe. Now I don't know how to use it...
I would have to use that on one of those cards you only give to your best friends that can take a joke with some sort of phrase about being snooty, but liking them any way. Great stamp! My collection is not that diverse...

I bet you can dress the poodle up with some blings and it can be really cute!
I have a hilariously ugly stamp - I need to dig it out to take a picture. It's a very strangely drawn cat, wearing overalls, sitting on a stool and playing a banjo, and it has a speech bubble over it that reads, "I like them mousies, them mousies good to eat" - I don't remember the rest of it. It's just the strangest stamp, I haven't been able to bring myself to part with it. Or use it, for that matter.
Bwahahaha re: not being able to bring yourself to part with or use that cat stamp.
I thought the poodle was kinda funky/retro, tho I can also see how it comes off as funky in more of a gym shoe kinda way. If Tim Burton (of "nightmare before christmas" fame) has a poodle, that is what it must look like imho!!
ETA: I just got my DH to evaluate the poodle image, and he said he thinks it's really cool. "With the spindly legs and textured look, it really emotes 'poodle'!" he sez.

Reason: Adding DH's take. And remembering to check my stash for yugly stamp images.
I feel bad for that poodle - like the ones in the Westminister Dog Show who look humiliated with those show haircuts. You know the ones - they have hair like girls in the 80s and those hair balls on their butts and those booties.
Poor dogs.
Poor stamp.
Now I am feeling so bad I have to go eat chocolate.

My first thought with that stamps was a card that says "And you think you are having a bad hair day?"
I must go look through my stamps for something oddly pitiful that I own.

My sister was over this weekend to make cards for our card exchange. As we were working on them she says, "These buttons are so ugly I just need to throw them away." She had a ton. I was telling her how I had read a post here about ugly or should I say icky paper. (I now use all stampin up paper)She started laughing and says" Can I put these all in a jar and put them in the closet with your icky paper so they can be friends? I just cracked up laughing. We had a great weekend stamping!

I was thinking about flocking for the "fluffy" parts. That stuff is so compact in the jars that I don't think it possible to use it all!!!!
Ugly buttons...... My son puts them between two paper plates or two plastic cups seals them shut with masking take and shakes them all over the house. No more buttons :>)

I definately see Tim Burton!
I challenged myself to finally make a card:
Where is yours? Lets beautify our ugly stamps by getting them inky!
Aw, I think that poodle is cute! It looks kind of snooty, which cracks me up! Fortunately, I don't have any ugly stamps. A friend of mine gave me a bunch of really hideous Americana stamps to sell in a yard sale once and this lady came up and bought them all. I told it her would be a dollar for the whole lot, and she said "oh come on, they're worth more than that!" and she ended up giving me three dollars for them! Just goes to show that one person's trash is another's treasure!
The poodle is cute! Maverick looks a bit inky and is adorable too.
I used to have Kliban cat stuff years and years ago. If you make a card with it, post us a link!
The song reminds me of the song "nobody likes me, everybody hates me, guess I'll go eat worms. Little bitty skinny ones, great fat juicy ones, worms that wiggle and squirm. Bite their head off, suck their juice out, throw the skins away. Nobody knows how a girl like me lives on worms three times a day."
