You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
This challenge was inspired by a thread in general stamping about going through our favorites gallery and deleting old cards. On this thread, there was discussion about the changing trends. So many of the cards in 2005 had at least one stamped BG and sometimes 2 or 3. I hardly ever saw a card with designer paper and there wasn't even a Cuttlebug reaching the cards back then.
This week's challenge is a list with the focus using background stamps. No Cuttlebug or designer papers this week.
Keyword:LSC151
Stamps: 1 or 2 background stamps, a main image set, sentiment optional
Paper & Ink: 2 colors plus a neutral
Tools: anything quick (except Cuttlebug of coarse)
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

I was inspired to make just such a card...by a card I saw today...it's coming together in my mind, will sleep on it and make and post tomorrow. Thanks Jen for making us get back to the *basics* of stamping!

Hi, everyone! Wow...I woke up and decided to work on the challenge...Drat that Harry the Poodle and his tiny bladder! Great challenge, and only one embellishment! Whew!
BTW...I'm stocking up on Valentines Day Cards, that's why I've been using the Regal Rose and Rose Red so much lately!
Will have to play tonight after work Jen. Thanks for another great challenge.

Great challenge, Jen! I've been using lots of DP lately so I should revisit this challenge. But for now here is my Valentine Tree - TFL! (Sorry that the photo is not so good... it's too early and too cloudy!)
Guess I will be sitting this one out because sadly I don't own one background stamp :( (hey, what can I say, I started stamping after background stamps were a "must have"...now their are Cuttlebugs, so why bother ;) ). I knew I should have bought that "harlequin" bg stamp at J's yesterday, lol!

Use a small image stamp ... repeatedly ... as a background!! ;)
