Default Best way to store Sakura Glitter pens?

Hi-

I recently purchased several of these REALLY neat pens and I was wondering the best way to store them? Should it be vertical or horizontal. Also, I can't believe how much they can add to a stamped image. Where does everyone get theirs? I order from Dick Blick because they had a sale, but are there cheaper places on the net that sell them? I got some funky colors that I am not sure I will use much, but oh well..thanks

I believe the general rule of thumb is to store these types of pens laying flat. That's how I store mine. I love them, too, they're tons of fun to add subtle glitter highlights without the muss and fuss of messy glitter, glue, heat gun, etc. I bought mine in a two-pack at my LSS for about $3.50.

I bought all of mine at Michaels...I love them...they are my new fave thing!!

But, what's nice...they are so cheap that it doesn't cost a mint to replace them!

The last few that I've bought I got from my local JoAnn's store.

Although I store all of my other markers horizontally, my Sukura or gel pens I store vertically, writing tip always down. I find that if I don't , the gel part settles inside the tube wrong. I also do this with my glue pen too. I have gone through 3 packages of the Sakura glitters for I love them so much and found that the first pen I used, stored horizontally, had some problems. Ever since I changed, no problems.
