SBVC11 Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue......1.18.08
SBVC11 Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue......1.18.08
If you have been around the scrapbook area for very long you know one of the challenge team members, Darcy is getting married on Saturday.
For our challenge this week, I thought it would be fun to use the little rhyme
Something Old
Something New
Something Borrowed
Something Blue
I'll leave it open to your interpretation. For example, my old is the purple paper that I've had since I first started scrapping, the new is the stripe that I bought after Christmas on sale, the sketch I borrowed from a site on-line, blue are the stamped flowers on the buttons.
my sample: the END
You can find all submissions for this challenge here: SBVC11
SBC's Information Thread : Everything you need to know to participate!
The OPD (One Page Doc, aka: Master Challenge Thread) that includes all challenges on one page for your printing convenience can be found here: OPD
If you have any questions please feel free to contact any one of the SBCT (scrapbook challenge team) via pm or simply post your question in this thread.

I'll need to put my thinking cap on for this one. I've got a 3 day weekend so I should be able to get some scrapping done.

Thanks Peggy for this challenge. I'm not on this forum a lot but I did follow Darcy's romance/engagement/marriage news! Here's wishing her all the best!!
For my layout, I had to scramble a bit for the 'blue'. I hope my blue journaling pen (that I never use) will count  :

I used this challenge towards the mini VSBN challenge. Something New-a new digi kit I won on Divine Digital, something old-the picture of my DGS from about 7 years ago!, something borrowed-the idea of making the list on the tag, something blue-my background paper and all the buttons and stars...
