tissues and baby wipes (I always have glue and ink on my hands and baby wipes are super easy to keep my fingers clean!)

I know you said ink but I say more specifically the stampin' spots. They are perfect for taking to a crop then you have all the colors.

I always make sure to take my alphapet stamps, both a large and small set.

Also a Basic Black, Choc Chip and Whisper White inkpad.

Oh, and some of my flourish stamps, I am always adding those to pages!

Ladies.....I don't do Scrap Booking (I create cards and other like items), but I do like your list also with the additions. But I do have questions.....if you take all that stuff with you, how do you carry it all? Where do you put it all when you do get where ever you're going (other people probably bring all the same junk, too)? Wouldn't it be easier to just have the Host of the party supply things and everyone work on the same project? I'd be too busy chattering away to get anything much accomplished if in a group of other crafters.

I don't mean to be critical, but as I know several friends who do the same as you're talking, but I just wonder if it's worth the effort. I'd rather just have the get together.

Default and to a retreat

Here is a great resource for packing as well.
Good info on how to build a page kit.

this turned out way longer than i thought it would... if you care to know the method to MY madness.

i don't scrap... i make cards.

a lot of times i make multiples of my cards (unless there is a special person or reason for a one of a kind) so when i am making the first one i put all the supplies i need for 3 or 4 more in a zip lock bag along with the completed one. i will cut to size the paper or CS, do any stamping, and include pieces of ribbon or other embellishment.

this way i don't HAVE to take all my ink pads, all my stamp sets, stacks of CS or PP.

i just have all these zip locks with cards ready to assemble. this is what i focus on when i go to a 'crop' or like friday i am going to my demos for a PMS party (pizza, music, and stampin' till we're crampin')

i sell my cards and i also like to give card sets as gifts this is why i make multiples.

some of the ladies i 'crop' with (i am the only card maker in the bunch) so the same kind of thing for scrapping just use a bigger bag! they have the layout for the page and include any PP, CS, and embellishments they want, put it in the bag.

i take basic tools... (i'll get my stuff i have packed and give an inventory)

pencil box with markers and pens i will need for some cards i have planned
eyelet setter, punch and hammer
regular scissors and a deco pair for a couple cards planned
bone folder
pen & pencil
tape runner a & glue stick

now i have some other 'stuff' i will need for cards planned...

1 1/2" circle punch
corner rounder
ticket corner punch
crimper
clear EP
glue dots
versamark
misc. brads and bling for planned cards
precut lengths of ribbon
pre punched shapes

i have the supplies and plans to make over 100 cards on friday. i gave so many card sets for christmas that my supply is very low.

i also like to get my stuff packed early so i have a chance to actually sit over there and make other cards and possibly remember something i need to add to the bag.

i hadn't planned on writing a book but once i got started... well you already know what... if you got this far! LOL

good luck, have fun and i hope you don't forget anything!

One more thought - either Shout wipes or that Tide pen. You know, for when you lean over the black inkpad and now there's black ink on your not-black shirt, exactly where you would prefer black ink not to be.

Patti, I'm another Person who Doesn't do Scrap booking. I'm a Card maker.

When I go to my Meet up group in Dekalb IL. Crop night, I take my stamping stuff with me.

Our Hostess has a ton of Punches, Retired SU stamps, Cuttle bug, Cricut machine and many other cool tools to use.

So I just take what I'm going to need for making cards. I have a AMM Tote
Kinda like this one.

http://www.allmymemories.com/index.a...ROD&ProdID=173

I can put a ton of my stamping stuff in here plus my cell phone and keys.

And I also have a Brief Case that I take and fill it with Card stock, Stamp Set's. (mine are in CD cases cause I use unmounted Stamps) and Ink pads.
Paper Cutter's, Scissors, Ribbon, Markers, Coloring Pencils, Whatever I think I will need.

And I have a large 12x12 Scrap Paper envelope it will hold up to 200 sheets of 12x12 paper.

And I think I have a little more than that.....(Hello I'm a Paper Hoarder) ;)

Since I can use most of the stuff at my Hostesses house I don't really take that much with me.

But there are all sorts of cool things to carry your Stamping stuff in.

I went to my first crop about 2 weeks ago. Had a wonderful time! Using Laurie's preliminary list, I was very proud to have a manageable-sized stack of stuff. I had everything I needed for the pages I did, but I did wish I had taken a bottle of water and a seat cushion.
I'm going to be a cropping regular!
