Default Talk to me about...SU Stitched Background Stamp

At first glance the new background stamp looked blah, I didn't give it a second thought. Lately, however, I am intrigued by so many people ordering it. What are your thoughts about it? Do you see a great amount of potential in it? Will I be missing out by not buying it? There are no samples yet in the gallery but you can bet I will be sure to keep checking on that.

Thanks for your input.

Subscribing!

I am really interested in this stamp as well. I *want* to order it, but feel like I need to see it used first. My guess is that it will work a lot like Linen... just a subtle, slightly textured look. Hoping someone can chime in with an opinion soon!

Hi Lisa,

I just looked at it and ooooh it looks pretty! All the details will be perfectly with the new rub ons.

I'm thinking that I just *may* have to had this one to my long wish list. I'll be watching too for some cards in the gallery made with this one.

I, too, have this marked in my catty as a "possible". I am thinking this would make a lovely, subtle background that had movement (linen and canvas are subtle, but they don't add to eye-movement across the card).
Hopefully someone has this on order so we won't have long to wait for a first-hand appraisal of how it stamps out.

I'm passing on it. I've seen some cool samples in the catty with it where sections of it were cut out but for quick and simple ,which is my usual style, I dont see it getting much use. I'm sticking with my retired Fine Lace bg until someone convinces me I have to have this one.

I also have this one on my "maybe" list. I think it would look awesome, in craft white, on some pomegranate CS.

It just came in my order this week and I like it even more IRL than I did in the catty.

How does it stamp out? Do image panels look nice on it or does it distract from the images? I'm having a hard time visualizing this on a card.

It stamps beautifully -- not distracting. It really adds a nice texture. I'm really liking it.

Frankie,

When you make a card and upload it in your gallery, let us know. I was perusing your gallery, by the way, and you have some beautiful creations in there!

Ok, that's all I needed to know! I am a texture gal. ;) I have officially taken it off the "possibles" list and onto the "must have's"! Thanks for taking the time to try it out for us and report back here.

I can't wait to see some cards with this! I put it on my must have list, but I'm second guessing it.

I didn't even notice this stamp until Frankie's card. I think it is going to be another great one that everyone needs once they see great samples like Frankies.

Frankie, That is a beautiful card! I'm even thinking of getting the Boho Blossoms now, too, because of you!
