Hi! My name is Amanda and I am new to this site. I was referred by my upline and I have to say this is a wonderful site! SO many good ideas and techniques! I have already tried several!
I am a new demo, just joined in April. I have not had any workshops yet as I was just joining to build my own collection (which I am still doing much to my husbands dismay!). We are a Military family stationed in Germany. I am an avid scrapbooker but I LOVE to make cards as well. I am planning to do my first stamp club at the end of the soummer. I am really excited about that!
I am looking forward to reading and learning alot from all of you!
Welcome too.... You will indeed need a cushy chair and an understanding family! (you'll be spending a lot of time here!!) This site is wonderful for many, many reasons.
Location: QUACKING along in my favorite Duck Pond....

Hi there everyone
Hello and welcome...it is a great way to add to your own collection...but have a few workshops, and get paid to buy your own or get what you want without it costing you makes it even better ... We are glad you like it here...
Welcome from the Midwest USA! Glad you can enjoy a hobby while you are over there! Do they have a lot of stamps? A friend of mine just came back from there but she doesn't stamp so I didn't even ask her!!
Welcome, Amanda! I became a demo last fall - basically to support my habit. I formed a stamp club that buys from me every month right away, so I get to earn free stuff all the time! Good luck!
I am already getting a TON of great ideas and having alot of fun!
To answer the question about having alot of stamps here.....not really. But the ones they do have are in German! LOL! I mostly get my stamps from Stampin Up! Which I love so that works out great for me
Hello and welcome to SCS! This is an awesome site that I am sure you already love.
Where are you live in Germany? I lived in the Kitzenburg/Wuerzburg area for 4+ years when my oldest was only 2 mths. old (he is now 12!). I absolutely loved it but at first it was hard to adjust especially with a newborn and no family but my now ex-husband. I made friends with a wonderful German gal (Karin) that taught about all the local customs and where to shop, etc.
You should do really well with SU! there. Best wishes for a successful business and have fun in the process of starting it up! ;^}

I live in Bitburg....near the border of Luxemborg. We are getting use dto it here, we have been here for a year now (hard to believe!). My two oldest boys were in school last fall so that was different for me as well (one went to Kindergarten and one went to pre-school). There were alot of changes and adjustments we had to get use dto when we arrived here......but now it is just the norm! LOL!
