I use whatever Ben Franklin Crafts sells - don't even know a brand name - it is ok for scrapping but it is flimsy for cards...so use SU even tho my cards, so far, are NOT WORTH it!!

I use PT White, Shimmer White from CutCardstock.com, Poison Ivory Shimmer from CutCardstock.com, Bazzill, or SU!. That's it! I don't like a white core CS, so I don't use CTMH. I've never tried TAC's. I like a nice, heavy CS, so I'm particular in that way!
I'm a 99% SU Cardstock girl. I do like the white from Papertrey, but I mainly just use it for bases otherwise I use SU. I do like Bazzill. I do not like CTMH due to the white core.
Some time ago this question came up and Neenah classic crest 80 lb paper was recommended. I got some and I absolutely love it! I am on my second ream. I use the solar white or the Classic cream. I know you can order it on line but I got it as Kelly Papers here in town. If you live in a big city see if you can find a Kelly paper or a Papers Plus. They both carry it here.

Forgot to mention, the paper stamps out really nicely and you can use gamsol or blender pens as well as felt pens on it if you don't get too heavy handed. Hope that helps.

I bought some Bazzil Smoothies White CS the other day at Recollections, but haven't opened it yet. I'll keep you posted. Except for my white, I use SU 99.99% of the time.
How much is the Neenah paper? I just googled and we have a Paper Plus in Columbus where I live, so I'd like to check it out but want to know if I could afford it first! I use all SU colors, but will use whatever white I can find because I go through so much of it. I just got 35 sheets of 12x12 white at Walmart yesterday for $2.99. When I used to live in Northern Ohio, I would go to this store called Hollos where you could buy paper for a dollar a pound! It was nice then, but I'm too crazy about my colors matching all my SU stuff now to get anything from there.
I bought some Papertreyink white cardstock the other day. It's VERY thick and works well for one layer cards, however, it doesn't feel quite as smooth as the SU! whisper white to me. If I really need a crisp image, I'd still reach for whisper white.
I buy paper at a paper store that caters to businesses. I adore the Finch Bright White 100lb cardstock. Very white, smooth and reasonalbly priced. They also have lots of beautiful colors including metallics. The name of the place is FasClampitt in San Antonio. The drawback is they only sell paper in reams, so you better really like it or plan on sharing with a friend. Bosworth's is another great local paper place. So sorry to y'all who don't live near here.
Many online place carry Fabriano- I think JacksonBelles store, and one other ebay store may still carry it. Starlitstudio's?
I have seen it at Impress, my local (and *entirely* too addicting to shop at) stamp store. Impress does have online sales as well~
I get 110lb white cardstock from Office Depot - you can get a whole ream to last a long time. It stamps great and it is a little heavier than SU's.
For the base, I usually use Staples 110lb white cardstock. It also comes in a variety of colours. I like to layer using SU carstock. Especially the Whisper White - it takes colour beautifully.
Marco's has great paper. I like Beckett Expressions for coloring anything--Prismacolors or watercolors blend beautifully. For card bases, I like their Cougar--they often have that on sale at conventions.

I use GA Pacific 110lb Image Plus Card Stock for white based cards. It comes in reams of 250 for $5 or $6 at Sams Club. Lasts forever. For colored card stock I love SU but also buy Hobby Lobby papers when they have them 8 for $1 in 8 1/2 X 11 or 4 for $1. 12X12. SU cardstock is very good quality paper.
I have been looking for alternitives to SU! WW and VV. Want to start using it for all my bases and $7.50 for 40 sheets is too much to use it as bases for all card So I went to Papers Plus the other day and bought Neenah 80lb. Natural White(not recycled) It is so smooth and yummy (I think better than SU!) the cost was $21 for 250 sheets. Also found on their Clearance shelf Wausau Exact Opaque White 80lb also so smooth and yummy. It was only $4.50 for 250 sheets. I asked if they were discontinuing it (I would have bought all 10 reems if he had said yes) but he said they were just over stocked so I think the regular price is like $10 for 250 sheets what a great price. Needless to say I will be using both of these from now on... Also bought A2 envelopes white and ecru 250 for $11 notecard size envies 250 for $10. Square envies 4 different sizes .15 ea. HTH!
I only use SU for coloured cardstock, however, I use 110lb cardstock from Stables for my white and vanilla. I can get 250 sheets for the price of 80 with SU and it is as nice for stamping, and is a little heavier for cards.

Ditto! I typically only use the Papertrey White for card bases, like other posters. I am going to check my Xpedx (paper store) to see if they carry the Neenah papers Ellen has in her store. A girl can never have too much paper, right?
