Hi!
I am making an altered lunchbox for my secret prayer partner at church. She is 7. I am using a snow / snowman theme. My question is, what are some things I can put inside to do with arts and crafts. She loves to do crafty things, but we are only supposed to spend $5. I bought $1 colored pencils, am including stickers I already have that are winter related, and a little notebook I am altering. Any other ideas for me? Thanks for your help!

From your supplies: some 1/4 sheets of card stock and/or decorative paper, paper punch some shapes of paper. Dollar Store: decorative edge scissors, coloring books, pompoms, etc. Glue Dots. Basically some supplies so she can create!
how about some of the $1 stamps from Michael's (they have those bins by the til - the acrylic ones are really cute for kids) - also you could share some of your girlie ribbon and cut off a few pieces for her; also you could make some craft/card/scrapbook candy for her and throw it in; also at Michael's I've seen little card/scrapbook kits for a $1 - I got some for my daughter for in her stocking and she loved them; glitter glue might be another idea; also cut up some scraps of cardstock to give her a little supply of paper to work with.
Thanks, gals, for the ideas! I will have to depend on other stores, as we don't have a Michael's within 3 hours! I will do the best I can with the local stores.. hav to stick to the $1 stores, though, as we can't spend much money!
Thanks again, and if anyone else has any ideas, keep 'em comin'!
Sue
