Default Bella Stamps - Mounting Question

I just received my first order of Bella stamps and I am surprised because I didn't know ( or pay attention if it's listed on the website) that they are unmounted stamps. My question is what do I need to do to get them mounted? I know I will need a wood block of some sort? Or is there something I can put on the back of them to be able to use them with an acrylic block?

Thanks in advance...Sorry for the dumb questions. I really don't know what I was thinking as I'm sure I know that they were unmounted. I think I just went "Weee! Bella! Must purchase!" and that was that!

Ryann, don't you just love the Bellas? I have about 20 of them. Purchase the clear acrylic blocks and the adhesive sheet that cuts to fit. Works great. I just ordered mine from Bella. Unless you want to purchase various sizes of blocks, just get a 4 inch one...all my bellas fit it. Don't use wood!
Blessings,
Betty

I have one acrylic block and use Scotch double sided tape to adhere it on there. Works like a charm for me!

I just recently purchased my first Bellas as well...prepare to be an addictabella!!

If you do a search on unmounted stamps, there are dozens and dozens of helpful threads on how to use unmounted stamps.

I put a little Aleene's Tack It Over and Over glue on the back of them. They're stored in CD cases and stamp beautifully without the mount. TIOAO is really cheap considering how many stamps you can mount with it (I've mounted over 75 CD cases full of stamps with ONE bottle).

I used to put all my unmounted stamps on Creative Cling cushion. I've found that since I only buy high quality stamps, I don't need the cushion. So I've taken them off and put Aleene's Tack it Over and Over glue on the back, let them dry, stick it to a pair of jeans a few times to remove some of the tackiness, and then I can store stamps on both sides of the CD case (more storage!). It works EXTREMELY well for me. I have a full range of acrylic blocks from CTMH....because they make THE BEST acrylic blocks!

I mount them for a friend when she orders them, and I just use the Creative Cling that I have. I stick the stamp on, trim it, and then use Crystal Effects to adhere it to the wood block. I always stamp the images on the top of the wood for her first with Palette Noir ink and then put a piece of self-stick laminating plastic over the top. They look just like SU! stamps when I'm done!

Default See D Mount Cling

I used to use Aileen's tack it, but found it a bit messy...
I now buy the sheets of See D's cling, it's like two sided tape, but I find it doesn't leave a residue on my clear blocks.

I use double sided tape - stick it to the back of Bella and then plop onto an acrylic block - works like a charm!

Welcome to the Sistah hood - there is no turnin' back now

Enjoy the girls!

This is what I do too. I don't even bother to put them on EZ-Mount. They are so deeply etched that you do not need any cushion.

If you don't have an acrylic block, just use the sticker side of a SU block.

I have an acrylic block. So my next question for those of you that use the scotch double sided tape... Do you use the bellas as if they are clear stamps? Just using the acrylic block when you are going to stamp with them or do you adhere them to the acrylic blocks permanently with the tape?

Thanks again.

I just pop 'em on and off of the block when I use them.

One more question:

Do you keep the tape on the acrylic block and then pop the bellas on and off when you use them. Or do you peel the tape off after you are done using the bellas?
