What should we ask?

A friend of mine and I are meeting with the woman who will be our SU upline tomorrow to get all the inside details about signing up. We have known her for a long time and are very comfortable with her, so we just need some help brainstorming "what we need to know". This is our list so far:

taxes - as in filing taxes for 2008 as demos?
credit card orders? do we need a machine?
going over our demo kit choices and asking for suggestions

so - any other suggestions? What do we need to know but might forget to ask????

thanks for your help...she is a WONDERFUL upline and I am sure that she will have more to tell us than we have to ask, but we want to cover all bases!

Definitely spend the time to consider what you want in your starter kit... if you're planning to do workshops or classes you might want different stuff than you would if you're buying solely for yourself.
If I had it to do over again I definitely would have spent the extra for the scrapbooking add on. Even though I don't scrapbook yet, I could have used all those supplies!
Also, if you and your friend are close, you might consider that you could borrow from each other, so maybe you'd choose different items from each other.

That's really the main stuff I'd consider for now... lots of fun things later!

I think the most important question to ask any demo is how much support she offers her downline. Does she have meetings, newsletters, or other ways to support you? Is she going to sign you up, and then leave you to sink or swim? Make sure she offers the support you are comfortable. And, I second the scrapbook add on.

I'd also ask her for what kind of tips she has for you to be successful. If she shares her knowledge and best practices - that may make you more comfortable and also help you as you are starting up.

I agree. Definitely find out how much support she offers her downline. Will she hold regular meetings? Will you be able to call her whenever you have a question? Upline support can make a HUGE difference in the success of your business.
