Default Need helping keeping glitter where it goes...

I am working on a swap and I want to use the dazzling diamonds glitter all over the stamped area. I am using the Hey! square stamp from Word Play and I usually run monoadhesive over the entire square then sprinkle the glitter, but is there something you could suggest over the top that would keep the glitter from falling off everywhere?
Please help... I have 15 post-it note holders that I want to do... :?
TIA

Kari could you try to use a versamarker then heat and stick then the glitter? I find that heat and stick is awesome for the glitter and it does hold it VERY well!

I would have thought that the monoadhesive would keep the glitter on fairly well. I use glitter with the vivid greetings set and the heat and stick product and have had very good luck (once I learned not to overheat the powder). I keep a few extra b-day cards on hand and have never noticed much glitter falling off. Perhaps brushing chrystal effects or other clear drying glue over the image would contain the glitter. I have never tried that--but I will on my next glitter project.

I use a Zig glue pen (they have them in a wide chisel tip) -glue up the area and sprinkle on the glitter - tap off...

however, thanks to a tip here I love using the glitter nailpolish on my cards - it is not going to be as heavy as using dazzeling diamonds and some sort of adhesive but it give it a nice twinkle.

I just added some of my DD to the nail polish jar (it was 2/3 full) and shook it all around to pump up the glitterness (I was putting 2 layers of nailpolish over the areas)

Try putting a piece of waxed paper over your glittered image and then brayering over the top. Presses the glitter into the adhesive and helps keep it from falling off. But there will always be a few escapees!

I always use Crystal Effects with my glitter! Works great and I've never had it come off !
