Default Help need some help with my coloring skills

I thought there was a tutorial of sorts floating around that talked about how to use shading in your coloring, and learning to become better at coloring. I'm so jealous of everyone that colors these amazing pictures........I wanna color like that too!!! Any help would be great.

AMEN, sista!! I am right here with you!!

I fell in love with Holy Tryptic for my Christmas cards this year.......tried to "color" it in like all the others in the gallery and FAILED, repeatedly!!

I'd LOVE it if there was a tutorial on coloring like THIS:
CC147 - Christmas Ornaments by Jerri Kay at Splitcoaststampers

I recommend Card Designs, a book. You can find it here and here.

I'm still working on my coloring too, but making progress. What I have found I've been most drawn to is the copic markers bc i like the brightness of the coloring. What I've done is studied cards Ilike, subscribed to many of the blogs from people on this site that i like their. I also kept searching the internet for watercoloring techniques, coloring techiniques, etc. Is there a particular type of coloring you are drawn too?
