OMGoodness!!!! I just got a call from Simple Scrapbooks Magazine and I won their Coolest Album Ever contest! I am in shock; I just can't believe it. She was just calling to ask if she could publish my name on the website tomorrow. I didn't even think to ask what place I took or prize information. She did say my book would be published in a special issue next year! I'm just on cloud-9 right now. I've never been published for anything. WOW!!!! O.k. I'll try to come back down to earth in the next few hours or so. Just had to share my news. Thanks for listening. Kendra

It was a book about my little dog "Baby". She died after a 2-year fight with cancer & it about our special bond and her battle. She was a special little girl and I made the book because she was such a joy to me. The book brings tears to my eyes everytime I look at it. I feel very honored that it will be published - a tribute to my special little sweetie.
I followed a theme of black and creamy caramel pages with stamped paw prints in black & Versamark, pewter accents & black/white gingham ribbon.
Thanks for the warm wishes. I sure hope I wasn't bragging, I just wanted to share my joy.

Congratulations Kendra!!!! My little kitty is named Baby!!! Since I don't have a human baby my kitty is my baby!!! Animals bring such joy to our hearts. I am so happy for you to be recognized for something that was truly from the heart!!! All the best..
I actually entered that contest also, well maybe theres still hope, anyway I know its a great feeling to be published so enjoy it and tell everybody!!!!!
