Stamping goodies for Christmas?
I looked around a little and I didn't see this topic posted yet. So what did Santa (or family) bring you for your stamping hobby?
I got a lot of good presents, but for stamping stuff I got:
Polka dot bg stamp
My Minds Eye patterned paper stack
tape writer colored refills (embosses like label maker)
gift card to where I work from work (Craft Warehouse)
heat gun also from work (had one but shared it w/ mom)
Pretty good haul I think!

Nothing for me, tho I didn't ask for any specific stamping tool/supplies. DD did get a "Three for you" punch boxed set from her boyfriend's parents. Wonder if she'll let me borrow it...?;)
Off thread to Stampin Wrose-I bought DH a 10 DVD disc set of all the Star Trek motion pictures. He's in "heaven"!:-D

I got the "All in the Family" set - mounted it last night (we're at the 26th already) but probably won't get a chance to play with it for a few days.
And I'm doing the demo thing in January which will be my Xmas gift too.

Got lots of goodies, but only one remotely related to stamping was a soldering iron set. Also my sister made me a leather pouch that she did some stamping on with Lumiere.

I didn't get anything stamping related for Christmas. But yesterday I did go to Joann's and bought myself some embossing folders for my cuttlebug. I guess I'll count that.

My daughter said I am so easy to buy for -- quite the opposite from before I started stamping. I got three retired SU sets that I've been eyeing and lots of little goodies -- along with two, not one but two, Michaels gift cards.

Looks like the cuttlebug is still a hot commodity! I got mine last year, and I actually let dust gather on it!!! I really need to clean that off and get to using it again!
I almost forgot my biggest stamping present:
an internet connection!! It was turned off in July (long story) but I got it back on as a Christmas present! It's like the whole of SCS is a gift to me!

I got 76 Copic Markers!!!!!!! I was just shocked. Plus a Xyron Design Runner, special Copic marker paper, acetate, and a couple of stamps.
But the best present I received yesterday - DH helped cut up veggies for soup and helped put presents out. Doesn't seem like much but around here that is extraordinary.

I really made out. 4 su stamp sets, all of the su markers, 2 sets of watercolor crayons, 4 packs of su paper, set of bb stamp pads, nesties, score pal, and....$250 gift certificate to a really great stamp store. Yoohoo.
Sadly, I am way too pooped out to do anything with my new toys tonight.

I saw this and thought I had already replied in this thread! (then I remembered I don't have a cat and my dog didn't really notice any of us this morning!)
I GOT A CRICUT!!!! I guess I dropped enough hints (and I quote two Christmas' worth of the same conversation ... DH: "What do you want for Christmas" ... Me: "A CRICUT" ... ok, so guess it wasn't so much as a hint as a straight forward request!)
I haven't been so excited to actually clean up my craft "area"! Still off work till next year ;) and can't wait to dive into my mess so I can play soon!

My DH gave me the whole oval set of Nestabilities (which I ordered from Ellen!); I am going to have fun with these! My son's girlfriend surprised me with a storage thingy that I can't wait to set up! It has 9 cubbies and she bought me some collapsable drawers to go in some of the spots; that should really clear up some of the clutter in my room! My daughters boyfriend got me a set of stamps!!!! I love it that care about what I do!!! Boy, do I wish I had the rest of the week off!

From sil, Ann I got Papertrey's Holiday Sweet Treat set and some Papertrey paper! I was so excited to get the stamps. : ) I don't think she knew how happy I really and truly was/am. : ) I haven't had a chance to play yet. My craft room was overtaken with wrapping paper. My niece, Katie and her family got me a Michael's gift certificate. : ) My ds got me a Michael's gift certificate. : ) Better than the gifts tho, was the wonderful family I have been blessed with.

Oh cool. Have you started using it? What do you think? I'm getting a little disapointed because there isn't a clean cut and the paper tears when I remove it form the mat. I have both the blade and pressure set to max.

Lovely As A Tree!!
My daughter had heard me mention how I liked that set and the really great cards made with the set. She found it on EBay and bought it for me. Totally surprised. While the family was watching a movie last night, I made both daughters a thank you card, for the presents I got, using the set.

I have played just a little bit - and I know I have made mistakes when setting the pressure and such  but I'm sure with some practice and knowledge of settings it will ROCK! Did you get the lil spatula thingy? Hubby threw that in my stocking and once I used that to remove the cut from the mat, smooth as silk!

I got spoiled rotten! New laptop (TOTALLY unexpected!) from dh, along with a beautiful jacket and gift certificate to CJ Banks! From ds slippers and a pretty pendant. GC's galore! But the only crafty thing was the Simple Scrapbooks magazine in my stocking (which I, of course, put there!)...
Oh well, this laptop is close enough to crafty I guess, lol...just look where I am tonight! Merry Christmas, everyone!!!

My husband really surprised me this year. I never even mentioned it to him before. He did see one in the store last year and was fascinated with it and wondered why I didn't have one. I've never even thought about buying one so now I need to learn more about it. He said he bought the big one...

Christmas isn't quite over for me yet, as friends and I celebrate together on NYE, but I did get a Sizzix Sidekick from one friend who can't make NYE this year. Now to take advantage of Michael's 40% off sale on Wednesday!
