Question !@#$%^&* Papertrey labels

Let me just say that I love the Papertrey stamps, but those clear labels that come with them - Argghhh! I can't get them to stay on. I'm almost ready to take them off and replace them with labels that I make myself. Any hints on how I can get them to stay on neatly?

I've had the same problem. I use a piece of packing tape over mine and it seems to hold the label down well. I've also thought of making my own with my Dynamo labeler, but haven't yet.

Ah yes, the labels that identify the stamp sets. I quit trying to put it on the spine of the box and just put it on the front of the CD case.

I just use my Brother P-touch labeler. That way I can use a different font for different companies and easily find what I'm looking for. A suggestion from A Chemistry with Paper is to put the stamps on a piece of acetate and put it in a page protector. Then store them in a 3 ring binder.

I cut mine down to about 1/4" and then put them on. They have all stayed on for me. Sorry they aren't working for you.

Yeah, if I don't cut them down, they don't stay on.

I cut them as well - I stick it, then just trim off the excess with my exacto knife. They're fine after that!

I'm sooooo glad I'm not the only one with this problem!

You should mention this in the PaperTrey forum. I'm sure Nichole and her partners would love the feedback regarding the labels (I don't own any PT stamps yet...but I will some day!)

Yup, another trimmer here! One of the last sets I bought - had a double line set name too...Just cut in half and trimmed both pieces.

I have given up on them too. I use my labeler so everything matches.

I've also had problems with mine peeling off of the case and I'm about ready to call them at Papertrey and ask if I can get new labels!!

I have about 10 stamp sets from them and the first 8 I've had the problem of the labels peeling off until I got smart and trimmed the last two sets to just fit the spine of the jewel case. Now I really would like them to all look nice and uniform with the labels sticking the way they should. I wonder if I can get some new labels. I'm willing to pay for them.

Julia I like your signature line! I can really relate to that! LOL!

I cut mine down and still had problems. I finally started using my Brother P-touch and made my own.
