Let me just say that I love the Papertrey stamps, but those clear labels that come with them - Argghhh! I can't get them to stay on. I'm almost ready to take them off and replace them with labels that I make myself. Any hints on how I can get them to stay on neatly?
I've had the same problem. I use a piece of packing tape over mine and it seems to hold the label down well. I've also thought of making my own with my Dynamo labeler, but haven't yet.
I just use my Brother P-touch labeler. That way I can use a different font for different companies and easily find what I'm looking for. A suggestion from A Chemistry with Paper is to put the stamps on a piece of acetate and put it in a page protector. Then store them in a 3 ring binder.
You should mention this in the PaperTrey forum. I'm sure Nichole and her partners would love the feedback regarding the labels (I don't own any PT stamps yet...but I will some day!)
I got sooo frustrated about this too! I just dont even bother with it anymore....I kinda know what's in the case anyway depending on where it's posistioned.
OCD....it's a sickness, but it keeps my house clean!
I've also had problems with mine peeling off of the case and I'm about ready to call them at Papertrey and ask if I can get new labels!!
I have about 10 stamp sets from them and the first 8 I've had the problem of the labels peeling off until I got smart and trimmed the last two sets to just fit the spine of the jewel case. Now I really would like them to all look nice and uniform with the labels sticking the way they should. I wonder if I can get some new labels. I'm willing to pay for them.
Julia I like your signature line! I can really relate to that! LOL!
