I know, this is my 2nd post this morning. I must be bored.
I have been curious about this for awhile now. When you visit someone's blog do you try to leave a comment on at least one post? I see so many awesome blogs out there and I personally like to leave a little comment, even if it is just to say I stopped by. What are your thoughts??
I would love to, but for some reason my computer will not load the comment page. :( I would like to get some comments on my little blog, but I figure everyone is too busy.

I try to as much as possible. I subscribe to several blogs so that I don't miss out on their fabulous projects. Giving "hits" to your favorite blogs is a good thing too, even if you don't have time to comment. But I try to leave at least one or two words - sometimes people have gifts to give in a drawing to those that leave comments!

Lisa, what's your blog address. I would love to stop by.
I rarely comment on blogs. If there is something I really want to respond to, I'll try- but in most cases, I've given up.
Most of the blogs use visual verification that I can never seem to figure out- there were sometimes I went through 5 or 6 before I could get my comment to post. I think it is Gina K's that is the only one I can read- as it's not a distorted one.
The other reason is occasionally blogger based blogs the comment page just continually reloads for me- even though I have an account. It will never stay still long enough to comment.
I also read many of them through my email- so unless it's a fantastic entry I NEED to comment on, I never leave my email screen to go to the actual blog.
I prefer SCS for conversation and blogs for being "talked at" since the blog owner usually doesn't respond to comments, it's just being thrown out there in space- and if I want to do that, I comment in the gallery!
I usually don't either---it has too be something fantastic, cuz most of the time it just takes forever getting through all the stuff you have to do to post.
I comment on some blogs. I have over 40 blogs in my google reader. And to think about it there are some that have not posted in a l o n g time so I think they might get deleted! I know people would like to get comments on their blogs, but I so many in my google reader and just don't have time, but IF I weed down to just a few, then I can comment away! PLUS all the time I spend on SCS!!LOL

I rarely leave a comment. I figure that if the blogger sees my name over and over then it will no longer have any meaning. So I only leave a comment when something is very unique.
I couldn't possibly comment on every post of every blog I visit. However, every comment I leave is genuine. In other words, I don't comment just to be nice!!

oh yes....as much as I can.
I appreciate the blogs I subscribe/save.
Just as I really appreciate the galleries on SCS. There are times I don't comment enough. ;O(
I try to. I love comments on my blog. Joining the SBS3 group has been great because those ladies love to comment. I still do a happy dance when I see comments. I try to leave them on lots of blogs too.
If it's the first time I've stopped by I try and leave a comment. I subscribe to ALOT of blogs via Google reader and comment occasionally when something really strikes me or if I have extra time. I dont want to see forums like this go away so spend most of my commenting time supporting comments in galleries.
I try to comment, when something really stands out.
I'm the lamest though all my comments are "This is awesome" because that's what I truly and honestly THINK. when I see something that stops me in my tracks and it's "super cute" or "adorable" or "awesome" I type what I thought. I don't always think, "This is really striking because of the high contrast in your colors and the way you used texture really draws me in" I LOVE when I see comments like that, but I truly only think "CUTE!!!" So that's what I type.
I don't comment on the personal stuff people type usually. I sorta see that as private. I know they put it out there, and it's sorta like looking into their diary, but if I don't feel I know them I don't like to talk about their business. If I "know" them I may email about it, but I don't usually do it on the blog. (I'm not saying it's wrong, it just is me)

I've really been trying to leave more comments lately. I've been finding so many cool blogs, I can't keep up! I'm going to start doing my best to leave comments more often because I know I would appreciate more myself.

LOL thats ok I do the same thing short but sweet lets you know I was there but I don't always post a long note
I comment on blogs too! And if you have commented on my blog, I will usually go back and say hi to you on yours! (Disclaimer for December- Ive been horrible at visiting those who have visited me this past month! Ive barely even visited my OWN blog! LOL)
Ill be better in the new year!!!
i don't usually because i use google reader... it's tough because i hardly get any comments on my blog, and sometimes that makes me sad, but i know it's because people out there are using the blog readers and LIKE ME are reading sometimes 50 blogs...
so i understand.. i'm just glad people read my blog at all.
