the M & M's for breast cancer in any stores???? I have been looking around and all I find are the Halloween ones. I thought making a small candy bag and giving it to each customer that purchases the Hope Is stamp would be a nice idea, but I can't find them!

Okay, I have to admit I saw Snopes and shuddered before I clicked the link. I know that site pretty well, used to spend a lot of time there. For anyone that doesn't know, it's the Urban Legends site. If you've heard a legend, they will tell you if it's right, wrong, or unprovable.
Ethel M (the people that do M & M's) are doing a great thing here. I'm impressed that they are doing this.
I found them at the Dollar store! Took all my will power not to buy all of them. They were at the checkout counter, in a corner, with all the other candy.
Felicia, I have not seen them around here, and I've been to the Walmart & Target by work, and the ones on the other side of town where I live, too. Target does have the Strawberry Creme Savers for 99c a bag, and the big bags of Pink & Silver wrapped kisses for 2.59 a big bag. Those might work in a pinch.
If you try to get the M&Ms online, they will be in later. . . you can order now, but they are (drumroll here) backordered or out of stock!
Thanks everyone. Maybe I'll try the $$$ store near me. I thought of those strawberry and cream kisses, but I thought I'd try to find the M & M's first. Keep your fingers crossed!

I found the M & M's, specially labeled for the Breast Cancer Awareness, at CVS Pharmacy. It was on a display board near the back of the store where they have some grocery products. They were $2.99 for 8 oz. and tied up with a pink ribbon; $0.50 from each sale goes to the Susan G. Komon Breast Cancer Foundation.
I think I can get enough for four small cello bags from each package. I plan to make a "Hope Is" card and attach a small bag of M & M's to include in treat bags for my Holiday Stamp Camp attendees in October.
I own a retail pharmacy and I asked our candy guy about them the last time he was in and he didn't have a clue about them!! It was funny, though, because I was the second question about them that day. Another pharmacy owner was bugging him about them.
Hopefully they will be in my next order!!
