Hello out there! Happy Holidays to everyone. Can someone tell me when the new StampinUp catalog comes out. I'm anxious to see what's new and if there are any specials for January. Thanks.

It comes out in January, and there is a wonderful Hostess special. With a qualifying workshop you get one of the stamps set in the preview brochure free! That's on top on all the free goodies you already get. There is also a wonderful Valentine bundle special.
If it is anything like the preview, I think it is going to be a great collection of stamps. I'm really having to work hard to convince myself that I don't need everything in the preview :mrgreen: But, that's a good problem to have.
I'm assuming that the catalogs will be delivered to demos in very late December, but that the online version will be up on Jan 1. Hopefully, not 2 am EST!!!
Online is good, but there's nothing like a big old book to lug around for months...

the on-line version will be up January 2, 2008. The fall-winter catalog is current through January 1, 2008.

I am so excited to see this!! i loved the preview sets. Let me ask a PP, what do you mean that the hostess gets a free set ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE. You mean she'd get the normal free set (level 1, 2 or 3 or whatever) AND one of these sets??

YES, Hostesses in January with a $350 workshop get to pick any set from the preview brochure for FREE! They still get their regular hostess set(s) (which all be new in the Spring/Summer Collection) and their free merchandise as normal, according to the hostess benifits chart.

I can't believe I get this excited about stamps...and free stamps....FREE stamps. Yippee!! Thank goodness for this forum. Otherwise, I'd think myself crazy. At least there are others with my affliction.

I bet your enthusiastic attitude is contagious. Have you ever thought about becoming a demo?

Just REMEMBER, the extra Hostess benefit is ONLY when the Hostess has sales of $325 or more party! (that is printed in Shelli's note on the inside cover).

Does anyone know when it will get to the demos houses?
If your demo ordered it when first available, she should receive it in late December. If she hasn't yet ordered, her shipment could be later. It's rather dependent upon when demos order their shipment, and we're not given any specific date. ;)

The preview brochure is a little sneak peak at what's coming up in the spring/summer collection. Customers cannot place orders from the preview brochure.
In order to send these brochures to customers the demo has to purchase them from Stampin' Up!, and some demos elect not to send the preview brochures out.
The preview catalog is online now at www.stampinup.com There is also a customer special for January (see the preview) involving Happy Heart Day and free ribbon

I don't know about the delivery date for the catalogs demos ordered but the complimentary copy is already in some demos hands
I got my catalog today! I am happy to report that I will be spending my children's inheritance in the next six months ;-)
I haven't been blown away by the catalogs for about the last year - this one has several sets I really loved!
Whooeee!! My demo delivered an early Christmas gift last night...the new 2008 catalog!!! I am sooooo lucky! Does anyone know if that is an SU stamp that they used at the very top of the cover and on several pages inside? I love that flower!
My demo (in Canada) got her catalogues for customers on Friday ... I was able to pick mine up today! I didnt care for the last catalogue at all ... this one I LOVE ... I have already spent hundreds of dollars in my mind ... love it all!
So I divided up the mail that had come in. I went through mine in the kitchen and my husband took his back to his office. About 45 minutes later I called everyone in to eat supper. My husband walked into the dining room and said, "I'm willing to bet this is something you have been waiting for." Yes, the 2008 SU catalog was mixed in with his mail and I never even noticed it. Of course then it was time to eat, but I promised myself as soon as I finnished supper come heck or high water I was going to look at the catalog. Then about 10 minutes later the electricity went off. Luckily for me it came back on before we finished eating. I have already looked through it multiple times and have already started making my list.

Got my catalog yesterday from my demo!!! I have to say, I am pretty disappointed with it. Most of the new sets are cartoon like and for me, that's not my style. There is some repeat sets from the last catalog which I still may get though. I love the paper! But I looked thru 3/4 of the catalog before anything jumped out at me. Totally bummed!

One of the great things about having a catalog every six months! I wasn't really thrilled with the last one, but this one I am loving. Give it six months and there maybe some sets that are more your style. Also Sale-a-bration is coming up and also a mini. There is sure to be something in one of those!
There is some nice pp in the new catty, but the stamp sets don't thrill me. I get more pleasure out of buying clear stamps from my LSS. Stampin Up is just getting to be the same old same old...
Of course my demo will do something amazing with a set that I hate and then I will just HAVE to have it.

Not a lot of stamp sets jumped out at me either, but I absolutely love the paper. I have a few new sets I might pick up though. I really like the recipe stamp set. Very cute! Great idea for a workshop, too!
This is why I'm kind of liking a new catalog every 6 months. You get some change.
Demo delivered catty and I'm loving it!!! Many new stamps that are more my style. Dissapointed in hostess sets though. Only like the Magnolia (level 1), don't remember what it is called in the catty. I will definitely have my first order ready to go on Jan. 2!!! I like this catty much more than than the last one.

In the past we demos received our customer boxes of catalogs more towards the end of the month. This year's catties are VERY early compared to past delivery times. Perhaps she promised them on January 2nd just to make sure she had them by then and nobody was disappointed if they didn't arrive (that is the date SU promised us we'd have our preorders anyway).
Also, given this is Christmas and New Years, she may be taking that time off from her SU business.
It' all a matter of when the catties physically get here and what/how the individual demo runs her business. Perhaps you'll get yours before Jan. 2nd since they seem to be arriving earlier than expected. (although I don't have mine yet :( ). Your demo probably told you January 2nd to make sure she had them and didn't give you false hope of an earlier delivery date.
My demo got her boxes Friday, and she sweetly let me have a few since I will be a demo in just a few weeks. I think I need an ordering option for "one of everything"! There are some stinkin' cute stamps this time!
