I have been busy, busy, busy getting Christmas cards ready to send, special gifts purchased, and of course the holiday goodies can't make themselves!
So, I gave myself the week off from sketch creating, but that doesn't mean I'm flaking out on you guys, I would NEVER dream of it!
I found these sketches on Flickr. Choosing just one was a challenge in itself because the creator, Choubox, has so many good ones! I decided to go with a 12x12, and an 8.5x11 page but you can easily resize either to use.
Remember, sketches are meant to be a starting point. Feel free to flip, resize, alter, or do whatever you need to make it work for you!!! Minor tweaks are expected, but if you feel a major overhaul is needed, you might browse through some of the older sketches for inspiration. There is no time limit for these challenges, so use them at your leisure!
If you play along, please share your hard work with us and upload to your gallery! Make sure you add SBSC120 to your keywords. Additional keywords are OK, just make sure you separate them with commas.
You can find all submissions for this challenge here: SBSC120
Both of these sketches look like fun. Maybe once Christmas is past...
Thanks for taking time out of your busy holiday season to give us some layout inspiration.
Glad to do it, just wish I could squeeze in some scrapping time too...maybe on Sunday!
I just posted the OPD, and I'll be checking back in when I can...Merry Christmas!!!
I love the sketch, i am looking forward to working on something for my scrapbook this weekend. I am finally done with my Christmas shopping! Yay for me!! LOL
The 5x7 I planned to use for scrappin' pages today was in landscape not portrait so I improvised. I had fun using the challenge sketch for what I'd planned to work on today -- thanks for getting the creative juices going. Hopefully my photo's posted and you can see it here
Thanks for such a great sketch! My DD had some friends over and they played 'Twister'. They were so funny! We took lots of pics and then they took pics of each other. One of the boys caught my DD making a goofy face and showing the 'peace' sign. They were cute. Here's my submission:
Hi, great sketch, but I turned one of the pictures into a journal box because I needed some room to journal. I liked the dimensions (on the sketch ) too, it made it easy to create! (Also it was my first page in 200
Very fun!
