LSC147 - Simplify It
This week, we are doing the opposite of the more is more concept found in the Fan Club monthly challenges. I want you to find a card in your own gallery to simplify. When you upload, link the original card and explain how you made it more simple.
Simplifying a card will be different for each stamper depending how involved the original card is.
On my card, I removed one layer, the faux stitching, and the brads. But then I added a little more quick stamping to make up for the losses. There are no hard and fast rules on this one.
That's it! Have fun!
Keyword: LSC147
My Simplified Card
My Original Card
LSC147 Gallery
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!

Great idea, Jen. Love that we shouldn't have to think too hard on this.

Wow! My problem is that my cards aren't all that complicated, so it's going to be hard to make them simpler. I'll see what I can find. Nothing like a challenging challenge on a Friday morning!

Simple is . . . well, simple - don't have to think too much - thanks for an easy challenge, Jen.
Christmas thanks
I left off the sentiment, eliminated one layer and used NO dazzling diamonds!!!
