Help the "World's Best Friend" celebrate her 50th with Blush Blossom!
I have been lurking (and posting comments on cards) for many months but I don't have a gallery so I am probably a stranger to all! But I love how you are all so helpful and so ready to get in on jokes and surprises, so...Would you please consider sending a birthday card (preferably using blush blossom) to my best friend who is turning the big 5-O on July 16th?? She is such a neat gal and has such a great sense of humor and thoughtfulness, always giving to others, and expecting nothing in return. The joke is (duh!50) that she HATES Blush Blossom (I don't) and we always joke about it. I sometimes surprise her with a card using it. When she intoduced me to rubber stamping she gave me a lot of stuff to get started with and, of course, her Blush Blossom paper!! She teases me about spending too much time viewing SCS and not actually stamping so I would love for her to be BOMBARDED with Blush Blossom B-Day cards from strangers...What do you think? Can you help me by mailing one on Saturday through Tuesday of this week so it will get there by the 16th (when I do to celebrate her 50)? Oh that is so funny! I'd love to mail her one! The only thing is, I don't have any blush blossom paper! I don't have very much SU card stock because I have a paper outlet store close to my house that sells cardstock by the pound super cheap! If I can find something close, would that be ok?
I hope you get a lot of people to send her a card!
Thanks so much, Cindy and Denier! It doesn't have to be Blush Blossom...any card will be appreciated, honest! I just want her to get a whole lot of them!! So, ladies out there, blush markers, blush ribbons, whatever and if you don't have that color just any card from an SCSer will be great for her 50th!!

Sounds like fun, I'll do it also. But, the bad thing is I'll turn the big 50 next year & you know what they say "What goes around, comes around"! I'll get it out tomorrow.
I'm not a Blush Blossom fan either so I'd love to send her a card and use up some of the Blush Blossom from multi-packs that sits, and sits.....I'm in!

Since I turned 50 last year, and I got a lot of black "over the hill" stuff, I would be happy to do a card in Blush Blossom! Much more cheerful than black! My stamp camp friends didn't use black, though! They're awesome! You're a great friend!

Thanks, Sandy! Belated 50th to you...I'm glad you gals are in on the joke. Hope they start arriving when I get there on Thursday. I figure if they are mailed on Monday or Tuesday, they will start arriving from all over on Thursday-Saturday, which is perfect. Heck, any card any time is great!
My card is done and in the envie. I found a whole spool of Blush colored ribbon so I wrapped a bunch around the back of the card, taped it on with removable tape, and wrote her a note saying not to let it go to waste! (BWAAAHAAHAA - evil laugh)
Actually, I used the (old) color coach and paired Blush with Summer Sun, Lovely Lilac, and Gable Green and it looks pretty good. Maybe I'll be converted too????

I'm in, and glad to get rid of some of my BB. Not that I don't like it, I just hardly ever use it. She is going to love getting all these cards. You are such a great friend to do this for her!
