Default I GOT PUBLISHED!!!!
I'm so excited, and I know each and everyone of you can relate to my excitement. I got home from an interview with Starbucks that went rather well, and checked my e-mail. Lo and behold there was an e-mail from someone at Paper Crafts magazine. A project that I submitted back in the middle of may as a general submission has been accepted for publishing. It's going to be in a new kids special issue of Paper Crafts magazine! I am still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground................I just can't believe it. Now I am totally jazzed to start whipping out stuff and start submitting and even trying my hand at a few design teams. Anyone know of a company that is looking for designers?? LOL Talk about a serious boost of confidence. WooHoo what an awesome Christmas present to me!!

I'm still floating on cloud 9, I actually just reread the e-mail, just to make sure I wasn't dreaming........ROFL And I have to tell you A male friend of mine, who has always told me how good I am at making those cards....(LOL) was so excited for me last night. He could hear the permanent grin on my face through the phone. I couldn't believe it, a MAN just about as excited as I was. What a doll!

You are oh so right............the key is to just keep on going!! I never would have imagined in a million years that my 1st submission would be accepted, now I know it isn't that easy most of the time, now I just have to keep plugging away.

I have been looking online to try and find the other publications to submit work too, and just can't seem to find the websites. Anyone have any suggestions??
