Here are some photos of the new $1 clear stamps at Michaels. The packaging at the top has a dark purple color. There were 16 different sets. The only one not pictured here is one with a pregnant woman on it.
I went to my local Michael's today (here in Vancouver, WA) to find these series 7 stamps, and there they were! All of them! I bought eight of the sets. I especially love the cat and the birdhouse and the bird and the owl and the sun!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the heads-up!

How well do they stamp? What kind of ink do you use with them? I think I want some for my stocking, but I've never used clear yet. Although I've teetered a few times lately.
I was just at my Michael's today and they didn't have any of them. They're always a few weeks behind whenever anyone posts that their store has them though.
My Mike's is always waaay behind... some they've never had!
Alana, they stamp great - very clear lines! 1st, I trim mine close to the design w/ scissors. Then slap it on an acrylic block and ink up with Versafine black. I always stamp off onto scrap paper a couple of times afterwards to remove excess ink. Then rub the stamp on my homemade stamp scrubber that's sprayed w/ the SCS homemade cleaner... glycerin, baby wash, & distilled water.
They come clean but a few times, they're stained a very pale gray from the ink. This doesn't hamper getting a crisp image. I have lotz of them and on a few of the new ones the ink kinda bubbled up so I gently ran an eraser over them and then they accept the ink very well.
You really can't tell by looking if they're inked well.. just stamp 1st onto scrap paper to check.
May God bless, Sandi

Thank you for posting this. I think I will go by Michael's to see if I can find them. They are very cute and look like just the thing to get started with and practice.
