Sale-a-bration!
I just saw the sale-a-bration catty! Cute! The only thing that makes me sad is that in Canada you have to spend $75 to get a free set, but in the States you only have to spend $50. I guess SU isn't going to catch up on the Cdn side?! Oh well.
Here's a link to the catty....

I also like the Love and Happiness Rub Ons. You get 4 sheets. I have no idea how much rub ons normally cost, but it is nice to have a non stamp alternative.

Eek! I've been waiting to place an order (for the newest in-colors) to take advantage of Sale-a-bration & now that I've seen 'em, I don't like any of them ~ with the exception of the word one. Oh well, guess I'm glad I'm trying to stick with clear stamps from now on...

I like the scallops set too, seeing as I have the punch. Guessing they are designed to fit the punch?? But there is nothing that I would HAVE to have, guess I'll see what I want in the nbew catalogue and see then.

I like the scallops one too ... and the words one ... those are the only two that I will need to get. But, yes, being in Canada, I will have to spend $150 for those two ...

I don't know why, but I can never get on the SU links. It is so frustrating. I guess the only thing I can say is that I'm glad sell-a-bration becomes effective in my hostess month of February!

Do you have adobe reader? If not you can get it HERE. If you do have it, is there a chance your firewall is blocking it?

Maybe I am just not in the right frame of mind but I am not really thrilled with anything in this catalogue. Last year I bought enough stuff to get everything twice during sale-e-bration. Oh well there is the new catalogue to look forward to.

I really like tese. The scallop set is adorable! The birthday whimsy set is awesome too -- quite unlike anything I have in my collection. Lots of thoughts reminds me of the So many sayings hostess set --it will be fun to mount those separately for greater flexibility! The merci set is super cute. The rub-ons in four colors are awesome (I think the whole addition of rub ons to the stampin' up accessory line is fantastic -- so many new possibilities). And the friendship blooms set coordinates perfectly with the rub ons -- just like the delight in life set coordinated with teh simply scrappin kit during last year's SAB.
I know I sound like a bubbly idiot, but I really did not expect that the selection in this year's SAB catalog would be this good! Even though I'm an SU fanatic I don't love every stamp set that SU puts out, so I was super excited to see that I really liked all the SAB sets this year since I definitely plan to earn them all!

I'm planning a big order ($150) for the new catalog--even though I haven't seen it yet!!--and, luckily enough, there are 3 sets in sale-a-bration that I like: scallops, friendship blooms, and the rub-ons. Yippee! Love free stuff!
Thanks for sharing the link!

Thanks for the link!!
Well this is the first sale-a-bration catty that I find stuff I want in at least 3 years!! I've always been a loyal SU! customer but haven't supported SAB in years.
This year I like the scalloped flowers especially since they demo'd them w/the center message that I won't use (baby and I don't celebrate Christmas) cut out. And now they will upsell me the scalloped punch.
Perhaps the sentiments one - I especially like it in the flowers. Maybe the bday one. I gotta think on that
And I love that the rubons come in colors!!
Its making me excited for the new catty cuz I d/n like so much of the current catty but this style is great. Even the simple open stamps seem more elegant and less doodle type...maybe I gotta get Merci too...LOL

Thanks so much for posting this link! What a great surprise today! I am very impressed with the samples. They are fresh and beautiful.
My favorite set, at first look-through, is "Merci". Too cute!

The SAB flier refers to a Scallop Circle Punch, #SSC380 ... what is that number? Are they referring to the Scallop Circle punch in the regular catalog? It does not have that reference number ... ???

Keep in mind sale-a-bration is Feb 1-March 17 this year. It is a change so unless a party waits to close until Feb. January sales won't count. I know I won't be able to wait a whole month to get something from the new catty though. Just not that patient.

I wouldn't cross the street for any of the sets, never mind spend my $75! What a disappointment for me.

I love the scallops set and the rub ons too. Especially the idea of using the rub-ons on something other than a card - that mug is adorable!

THANK YOU!!
You know I completely forgot that every year I always save my order for Christmas for SAB so I can put in the 150 order and get those free sets, I compeltely forgot, how bizarre, but thank you so much!!
There are a couple retired sets I wanted but in the realm of things they are not sets I can't live without -

Thank you for posting the link! I thought the dollar/dollar exchange was even now or slightly in Canada's favor so I'm surprised there is still a price differential. Anyways, thanks a bunch!

These are free stamp sets when you purchase $50 US worth of other merchandise out of the regular catalog. You cannot purchase these stamps or the rub-ons.

Thanks for posting the link. I am so anxious to see the new catty---- Has anyone got one yet? I think someone told me they had seen it but maybe they were joking me???
