What do you do with stamping magazines?

Okay friends beside the obvious addiction to stamps, products related to stamping...I am compelled to buy stamping magazines...help does anyone have a storage solution OR a way to happily release these magazines. I think I need a self help group. I know there is someone out there with a solution. Thanks, friends!

After I read them cover to cover.........I put them on the bookshelf than after a few months I take out any ideas that I want to save- these go into a binder - the rest of the magazine - I send off to friends who would like to go through them. They add up fast when you subscribe to them! You can also get the magazine holders (usually cheap at Walmart....) and put them in your stamping area if you don't have bookshelves and like to hold on to them!

I go through them and pull out any pages with card ideas or tips I like and keep only those - in a binder, then usually I toss the magazine into the recycling. If they're not too torn up, I pass them onto my friends.

I keep them whole for a year, then tear out any pages I still love, put them in a binder, and put what's left in the recycling bin or give whole ones to a friend who can't afford them.

I do keep "special" issues, like holiday ones, for a few more years.

I never thought of taking out the pages I liked... But I don't think that I've ever ripped apart a magazine in my life....

I keep them and they can take over... This is such a great idea, glad I peeked at this thread...

I go through them a couple times and WAS trying to keep all of them - that wasn't working because we were going to have to move out of the house due to no room to live, so I have passed them on to a friend, who is going through them and passing them on to her mom. We are recycling I guess.

I subscribe to most of the stamping magazines and I have to get rid of some now. It breaks my heart to throw them out! I think I am going to go through them and try to give away the ones that I don't have any use for. I am going to take some to the stamping group next month and maybe they will want them!

JUST yesterday I started to go thru several years worth of magazines. I am also cutting out anything I want to try in the future and the magazine is going to recycle. They can take over....

When I finally accepted the fact that I rarely looked at an issue of any magazine that was more than a year old, I went through the stacks (and stacks) and pulled the very few issues that I couldn't part with. The rest were stuffed into a Flat Rate Priority box (15 - 17 issues); for the most part,
a box held one publication.

I put ads on Gingerwood on Mondays (sale day)...and sold the boxes for $15.00 (Flate Rate box postage is $8.90) each. All of us, buyers and me, were happy campers.

I've kept my promise to unload issues soon as they hit the 12 month mark.

As far as pulling articles of interest...had already gone that route ages ago. I had a very organized system of filing those articles in binders. Spent so much time cutting out articles, organizing them and punching holes to put them in binders that I didn't have time to look at the articles.
