Default French Envy?

Have you heard of (or do you have) any craft room furniture by French Envy? My hubby asked me to take a peek at the site last night so I could pick out some stuff for my stamping room...but I don't have a clue where to start and I always kind of thought this stuff was a bit too expensive...so...what kind of stamping furniture (desk and storage) would you buy and from where?

French Envy is very nice you might like Hobby Hideaway too. It's the one I am leaning toward getting. There are some who have posted pictures of the Hobby Hideaway in the gallery under stamping spaces. Here is the link to their site.

Wow! That looks nice. And pricey! Can your husband talk with my husband? He could use some hints.

Thanks for the link to the Hobby Hideaway...I was actually leaning towards installing cupboards and a countertop, but he wants it to be "moveable" incase we get moved again...so he is leaning towards the French Envy stuff...it is nice, but I was thinking that for that much money...I could get my whole room done!

Oh wow!!!! If my dh even suggested I go ahead and get it, I'd do it without a doubt!!!!!!! I've been coveting this for awhile now and would've gotten it with my summer school check if my transmission hadn't gone out ;-)

YES! I have a French Envy Stamping Desk and I love it! SO MUCH STORAGE ROOM!!! It is so nice to be able to store my wood mounted stamps in the drawers in a single layer so you can see exactly what you have without digging. Nothing gets buried under other stamp sets. Since they are a custom furniture company they do take a long time to fill your order especially after Christmas. I think that I waited about 14 weeks for my desk. I can't begin to tell you how much it is worth every penny to have one of these units. Feel Free to ask me any questions.

If I can figure out how to do it, I will post a few pictures of my desk.

Oh Thanks!! okay...so...I have a lot of SU wooden stamps, but they are alreay in cases on a bookshelf...and I am now doing mostly unmounted stamps...so stamp storage is NOT really an issue...but storage for bits and pieces and tools is.... Are the deeper drawers deep enough for things like punches and heat tools, tins? Are the thinner drawers deep enough for things like embossing powders, re-inkers? Do you have any of the ribbon drawers and if so...do you like them?

I have all of my paper in a file drawer...do you have any of the paper storage? Do you like it? I would LOVE to see pics.

I just uploaded a few photos here :PBaker's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

The drawers are not open all the way so more things will fit than what is showing. As you can see I only have the desk and not the hutch with all the drawers and shelves. My desk only has the standard depth drawers for stamps but you can see in the picture that I am storing some tools and embossing powders in there. There is an option to get deeper drawers on the desk itself which will most likely hold heat gun and some punches but I doubt that the Marvey punches will fit in there. You can check the website for all the measurements of the drawers to see what will fit. I don't have the paper storage or ribbon drawers. My big problem was stamp storage because I am not an unmounted girl.

Default Two French Envy cabinets available

I am getting rid of two cherry colored French Envy cabinets in Roseville CA. Happy to part with them for a reasonable reasonable agreement.
