This week's challenge is to use Crystal Effects in your stamping. Here is a link to a great file with uses for Crystal Effects if you need a jumping off point. Also if you have any great ideas, tips, or uses for Crystal effects, feel free to post them to this link as well.
Please remember to post a link to your card back on this thread and put WT16 in your keywords section when you upload your card.
Hopefully this week will be a better week as it was crazy around here and I never made a card. I know that it was very busy for a lot of you with the long weekend. Please feel free to keep posting to last week's challenge as well. I would love some more ideas.
Happy stamping,
Julia
PS Joshua is doing much better this week and is almost over his virus. Thanks for all your concern.
Mine's dry and up in the gallery. Here's the link. This was the first time I'd used it, this made me get it out and do it! I added a little glitter but it's not showing up in the scan.
Here is my card for the challenge involving Crystal Effects. My favorite way to use it is by mixing it with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter! Unfortunately, it doesn't show up well when you scan it. Image was still pending as of 10:05pm EST. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I have mine done and even got a little push due to what it's being used for. The baby has arrived and I'll give this to my good friend of twenty years in honor of becoming a grandparent for the first time.
The grandpa was sure hoping for a boy so he wouldn't have to attend any dance recitals but Ill bet when the day comes that he has to attend that first one hell be so proud! I cant wait to see her.
I do hope I gave credit to the right person for this template, I saw credit to her on a post and I hope they were right.
I don't have any Crystal Effects so I can't do this challenge but I wanted to tell you how glad I am that Joshua is on the mend.

Here's another that also fits the Limited Supply Challenge this week. I used Crystal Effects to adhere the stamped Apricot Appeal cardstock to the bottom of a Clear Button. Fun, fun!
Here is my card using Crystal Effects. I wanted these letters to look like shiny buttons and then used the pop dots to elevate them off the card front. I used Cameo Coral also which I have not used at all. And I am trying to use these sets that I have that need coloring in... I dont feel very successful at that yet. The cards just seem to turn out all the same for me.. This was a fun challenge and thank you for making me push myself further. All these challenge are making me use my "stuff".

Here's another for this challenge and the limited supplies one. It uses the new Set Some Like It Hot in a different way! Crystal Effects used to adhere the string ties. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I haven't got time to play but I thought you'd like to know that I HAVE used Crystal Effects (or equivalent) this week... to stick a kitchen cupboard door knob back on. It worked a treat!
One more using Crystal Effects to adhere the Clear Button. I'm lovin' my Clear Buttons! This one also uses the Technique Lover's Challenge for this week and last week's Color Challenge. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I couldn't see all your cards, but loved some that I saw.
Unfortunately we don't have this stuff here, we have some other things that gives almost the same effect. Can I post it or it needs to be this product you say?
I love the look of crystal effects. I was trying to combine as many challenges into one card that I could, I was not sure how to add crystal effects to the card, especially with the card sketch challenge, but this stamp was perfect.
This is one I already had on here, but thought I would share anyway. Hope that's ok?
The Crystal Effects was mixed together with hair gel and pearl ex and then heated to bubble.

Thanks a lot. I'll try something... it's not that easy for me 'cause I don't have much time and have neither a scanner nor a digital camera... but I'll try to upload as soon as I can.
Okay, I know we've started a new challenge, but I'm having too much fun with my Clear Buttons and Crystal Effects is the best way to attach them. So, here's another. It also fits the Technique Lover's Challenge for this week.
