Can you tell me about the snowman circle stamp you used. I don't recognize it, and it sure is cute. Who makes it?
Oops! I forgot to give the link for the holiday button! I printed the circle and then added my itty bitty snowman in the middle -- he fit perfectly!!! The snowman is from Archiver's hot spot -- he's made by Stampendous.

I think I might go to Michaels this afternoon instead! those are so cute!
I'm fine -- I miss seeing you around!
I bought 2 of those boxes when I went the other day and when I looked yesterday, they were OUT! They do have other colors besides white though -- green, kraft...
chattiekathie.....My comments were not to be taken as critical. The project just appears to be unfinished. Sorry if you're offended. I said I liked the idea at the start. I thought these boards are for honest comments.

Hi Patti,
If the OP had asked for opinions/critique on a project, your comment would have been more appropriate - although worded perhaps a little kinder/softer. She was simply sharing her work & idea with us. What looks unfinished to one, is complete to another.
I see that you're new to SCS - welcome! I am just going to offer a bit of friendly advice. You'll make more 'friends' here if you aren't quite so brutally honest. I have noticed on a few other threads that you've bristled more than one person here. You don't have to agree with everyone & everyone doesn't have to agree with you, but if you wanted to be treated kindly - you need to be the first to start.
In other words, please treat us as you would like to be treated ok? If you're unsure about the boards - check out the 'Start Here' thread - it offers some great advice.
I had purchased some of these boxes at the $$ store, but thought that with only decorating the top part it might not look good to have the sides and bottom white. Any suggestions? Or do you think this would be okay? I didn't use them and just gave up looking for other options and made my own boxes. They turned out really nice, but if I can skip this step that would be wonderful.
Neat idea, but very bland without embellishing the top. Looks as if you either ran out of time or forgot to finish the packaging.
The gift boxes can be purchased most anywhere, even a $$ store. Or look in your stash of wrapping items. You probably saved many boxes from last year.
Patti
Patti, I usually let comments like yours pass, but Jennifer was kind enough to share her project and offer a solution to all those that can't find nugget tins and the tone of your comment made me wince. Let's try to embrace the spirit of the season - kindness and giving - and appreciate one another!
Great idea thank you for sharing it with us, I love it!
(I have purchased my tins from www.specialitybottle.com, it appears that they are in stock and it did not take long for shipping.) Plus you can purchase other tins as well no minimums, so I got one of each to play with.

When I made my nugget boxes I always used white cardstock for the bottom and only stamped on the lid, I guess it is what you have time for and what you want to do, there is no right or wrong way.
This is a great idea! I personally like it with the belly band. Has anyone else decorated ones that they got? I'd love to see some more ideas. I have a staff of 6 at work and I'm thinking of doing these as a gift to them. You can never go wrong with chocolate! :-D
Ladies.....My comments were not meant to offend anyone. Sorry if they did. We are all Craftsmen at varing levels. That being said, yes, if I did take the time to photograph and upload one of my projects to this board, I would be looking for comments from anyone that cared to view it. Just saying "it's cute" or "really nice", doesn't really tell me how it could be improved or how they would make it better.
I have gained a lot from the tutorials found at various places on this board and for that I feel it is most helpful.
What it comes down to I think is that each of us creates and embellishes our projects in varying ways and different levels. For instance.....when I make my cards, I would also make the envelope, too. If I create a hand made gift, I would also make the packaging, or at very least embellish a store bought one (I like gift bags rather than wrapping paper).
Great idea thank you for sharing it with us, I love it!

Happy Stamp Day!
When you find out which tin you like best, please let us know. Thanks.
Great idea, and just the right size! I like the belly band, gives it a classy feel. And since there's white in the snowman embellishment on the band, I think the white box looks fine, IMHO. Again, a classy feel, not over done, I prefer things like that myself, but that's just me. I guess project details (amount of embellishing, etc) all depends on what you like personally. I wonder if you could find these boxes in gold or some Christmasy colors in the wrapping paper/bag/box section of larger stores? I'll have to look around for those. Now that there's options as to what you put the nuggets in, wonder if they'll be a shortage of nuggets? Ever wonder if the mngmt at Hershey's is wondering why nuggets are flying off the shelves????

OMG! I never thought of that. What a great idea. It's so cute....Sure beats all the cutting and measuring to make the box. I am a jewelry vendor besides a SUD, so I have the boxes. I'll be able to make more for holiday gifts with all the time I'll save. If anyone thinks it's to BLAN,
Stamp on It!......Thanks so much....
