What couldn't you live without?
Just wondering because of the thread about missing stamping stuff, what crafting tool could you not live without?

I'm going with a basic: paper cutter.
I say this because when I very first started, I didn't have one and tried to cut everything by hand- no good!

My Crop-O-Dile & Cuttlebug! Although a paper trimmer is pretty important.
And it took me going through 4 of them before finding a good one.

I'd probably miss my Cutter Bee scissors most. I seem to use them on just about everything!

Well, I can't get my ATG gun to work, and I'm still alive so cross that off my list!
A couple of things -- my paper cutter for sure and my Japanese screw punch.

To each their own!
I love my ATG and will never go back to any other type of adhesive. I'm sure if you can get someone to teach you how to use it you will love it.

Please don't tell me what a Japanese Screw Punch is, Joan, or I might wind up *needing" one.

I couldn't live without my MM Precision Trimmer. I have had it almost a year and love the fact I didn't have to buy any blades this year!!!

Another vote for the cuttlebug. I resisted buying a die cut machine for so long, but the 'bug is just so versatile!
I'm still on the hunt for the perfect adhesive. Talk me into the atg gun ladies! Is it bulky? I'm attracted to the "you'll save so much money on adhesive" thing.

It is a large handheld gadget that dispenses double-sided tape. Here's a picture of one for you. There are several different sizes and styles.

(and sorry, but yes, you do need one ;) )

Another vote for the Perfect Layers -- use this ALL the time, can't cut straight probably never will, so this tool is the answer to cardmaking and scrapbooking!! I also couldn't live without my big SU cutter, and so glad they came out with it as it saves me so much prep time!!

Hmmmmm... what I reach for the most lately is my Palette Noir ink pad. It's the one ink pad that I don't put away. I have my personalized "hand stamped by" stamp stuck to the outside of the lid so all I have to do is turn the lid over, ink it up and stamp the back of my card. With my trusty ink pad by my side, I can create lots of things. I could stamp my thumb print and doodle a little on it and make many different creatures. I could use a pencil eraser and stamp little circles - or use many other household items to stamp images.
For tools:
ATG
MM paper trimmer
Stamp a ma jig
Markers
Prismacolor pencils/blender pencil/Gamsol
Dove blender pen
I own the Cuttlebug and Cricut machine, but I don't use either on a daily basis. I do like using them, but I don't think my crafting would suffer if I didn't have them.

I don't know how I forgot to mention this earlier... but I could NOT live without my Squishy Scissors ~ I LOVE them !! They are super sharp and so comfortable... makes those tedious cutting projects so much easier !! I have 3 now... one of them dedicated to cutting rubber... goes through it like a hot knife through butter.
