Well, I lurked for a while, joined, posted a couple things and now have decided to try uploading an Avatar! We'll see if I'm as computer savvy as I think
Actually, I did get quite a bit of stamping done! I was able to make quite a few set samplers. I'll be able to scan them when I get home either tonight or tomorrow!
Testing my avatar! This is me with my daughter, Becca, right after the 5K race I ran on Saturday. I don't usually look so sweaty! I was pretty happy, though!
Here's a cute story -- the night before the race, Becca asked me, "Are you going to win, Mommy?" I replied, "No, honey, I don't race to win, I just run because it makes me feel good." She thought for a moment, then said, "Well, then, I think Daddy should run the race, 'cause HE'D win!!!"
I've been lurking for a while too. Just figured out what avtar is! Now I have to try uploading some cards. I just love this site. I think I spend more time here than stamping! At least I'm getting some great ideas!
I'm new too, and I absolutely love this site! Wonderful ideas, but even more wonderful people! This truly is a family. For those of you who don't know what an Avatar is, it's the picture under the peoples username. When I tried to load my avatar, it said that the file had to be under a certain size. But I don't know how to change the file size or whatever you would do to make it work! Any suggestions??
Okay, you encouraged me to try to download an avatar.... Look, it worked!!! I went with the Cheshire cat because my last name is Cheshire. =) Whaddya think?
