They're only available for purchase for SU demos in December -- and we can only purchase one (not one of each -- just one of the four).

Me, too. The others? Not so much.

Thanks for sharing the preview link, Joan.

Default I hope the catalog is better...

I have so many stamps that I'm only going to buy what I really like at this point, or need. I have similar to those already or would prefer a different style.

I agree. They are too much like SU sets I already have.

I am just starting to do a hobby demo for SU and wondered what the hostess levels were about? I understand they are special gifts for someone hosting (I get that from the title - call me a genius), but I don't understand why they wouldn't be available for purchase?? It's super cool just to get a gift!

Another question, are demos allowed to hostess?

I couldn't get into the SU site. Is this for demos only?

Yes Demo's can be a hostess and you can earn hostess sets and earn merchandise even on a Demo Order. It's a nice bonus. The hostess sets are not available for purchase to customers because they are a special FREE incentive to customers to host a party.

I have never "hosted" a party in the traditional sense of a party. However, when you place an individual order that meets the hostess limits most demos will treat you as the hostess and extend hostess benefits to you.

It is just like having a party of one -- you. I make myself some cute appetizers, pour a glass of sparkling cider, call myself a party and place my order!!!

I realize that not all demos in all companies handle it this way, (found that out the hard way!!) but I will not buy $150 worth of SU stuff without getting my hostess benefits --which currently are 1 free level one set and $15 worth of free product.

None of them really float my boat. I'm surprised (and relieved) considering how blown away I was with several things in the preview mini. I hope the other hostess sets are better.

Joan, I love your party idea. I would make it a glass of wine, but the rest sounds great! You crack me up!!!

I was totally disappointed that they are all so much of what SU has already offered. I really hope there are a few pleasant surprises in the new catty because I have not been wowed by any preview thing that I've seen thus far. The retirement list wasn't near as long as I expected either, so that means that so many of these I don't like are still in the catty. Sorry, I'm so whinny!!
