The new cat set is very cute, but I'm not happy with the new dog set. What were they thinking? Bleah. Maybe SU should get a consumer advice group to help them select designs for next year. They should definitely be reading this site for marketing info.
I do like the "Tailgaiting" dog wheel. When I first saw it, I looked at the name of the wheel just above, "Tree Time" and thought all the dogs were running to the closest tree!

I can't stand the dog set, Ruff Day either! And I am totally a dog lover and yes, what were they thinking???? I wish they would bring back the Bow Wow set which had such cute dogs.

I'm glad someone else agrees with me. I don't like to put down sets, but these dogs just look goofy to me. Our dog is a Sheltie and she is so intelligent. I don't think this set does our canine friends justice. The cats in the set above it are cuter. I do definitely like the dogs in the tailgating wheel and the loads of love accessories. I still have Bow Wow from a few years ago and was hoping they would come out with something cuter or classier. I'm planning on sending SU an email with my ideas for a new dog set. I would love it if they did a Sheltie set. This set would include a gorgeous headshot, a full body pose, a Sheltie herding sheep, a Sheltie puppy, a Sheltie doing agility. Then they should do a set like this for all the top breeds. I would be in heaven. Do you think this is too much to ask?? LOL
I agree the dog set is disappointing. I have three fur-children I scrapbook for, and I was hoping for something a little more versatile. With the cute cat set in the summer mini, and now the cute set in the catalog, I feel like dogs are being discriminated against. Not really, but it is discouraging.

I actually love the new Ruff Day set and wheel - as well as tailgating.
Since dog lovers often prefer stamps with "their" breed; it would be vitually impossible for SU to design a set to appeal to the masses. Personally, I really like the doggie designs from the new set. The sentiments are not exactly my cup of tea; but I'll find someting to match! I loved the older sets too - although I much prefered Bow Wow to Canine Capers! The cat sets are great too!

I think Ruff Day is really cute. We are a "cat family" at the moment, and I am disappointed with "The Cat's Meow". The cats are kinda creepy lookin' if you ask me! Even in the wheel!

I loved the new dog set 'Ruff Day', soooooooo cute!! I also loved the new cat one... I'm always on the lookout for cute dog stamps & I wish SU carried more of the dog & cat stuff... ANybody knows any other source where I can get dog & cat stamps?
My dd and I are sooooo happy with the new cat and dog sets and wheels! They are so adorable and playful, and actually don't look scary, lol! We have three cats and three dogs so this is right up our alley. � I agree with Sarah's saying, "You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time!" I so happy it's finally my time, lol! �

I wasn't into SU for Bow Wow, but I LOVE Canine Capers and the matching wheel and was sad to see it retired. I am not a fan of the new set. Glad I kept Canine Capers. I thought about returning it because I got it right before the retired list came out.

I wasn't impressed with the cat or the dog set either one. I do like the cat wheel, "Pounce," and "Tailgating" wheel, but really wish they'd come out with a more elegant cat set. Something in the style of "Seaside Sketches" would be wonderful!

I like Ruff Day, but I wish it had more stamps like the old Bow Wow set, with a dog bowl, bone, etc. I was really hoping for a set I could use to scrapbook my dog children, but only 1 of the 3 pics would really work for me. I like the wheel, but I hate to get a wheel without a coordinating set, and I wouldn't spend the money for the 1 stamp in the set I'd use. I never got Bow Wow, because it retired soon after I started stamping, so I guess I'll just have to wait for them to retire this set and come up with another one. I wasn't a fan of Canine Capers either. I do like the dogs in Loads of Love and Accessories too, but they're too small to serve my scrapbooking needs. Oh well! I've got plenty of other stuff on my wish list I can spend my money on until they come up with something I like, and I've got plenty of other photos to scrap!
I love my cats and dog, but don't care for either set in the new catty...have lots of old SU cat and dog sets though! (thank goodness!) I really was hoping for something more "realistic'....

I love Ruff Day and Ruff Play, and the cat set & wheel also. I have Bow Wow and Meow Meow, but I never got the last dog or cat set. I love the sentiments too. I am one of the weirdos in the minority of loving Knobbly Gnomes though so ...
Actually I didn't like last years either. I have and love Bow wow and use it all the time. The more I look at this years Dog set the more I think its great for cards but not scrapbooking. Since I have Bow Wow and use it for sbing I doubt I will get this one
BTW This is my first time posting here so I just wanted to add a "hi". I've visited a few times and yesterday was inspired by the beautiful gallery so I thought I would come out of lurking. I'm not a demo, just an addicted SU! scrapper and sometime card maker.
