SBVC04 Ad Inspiration 11.30.07
With the holiday season fast approaching the newspaper and magazine ads seems to be multiplying. Companies spend a vast amount of money on these ads and I thought we should pay them some attention. Of course not in the way they were intended.
I've attached some ads for your inspiration - use the layouts, colors, style, whatever catches your eye.
I can't wait to see what inspires you!

If you weren't inspired by any of those ads, I have one more.
I didn't get a sample of this one done, but it reminded me of Sally's sketch SBSC114, (which I loved) and thought it would make a wonderful page. I hope to figure out which pictures to use and get a page done soon.

I'm so bad about checking the Scrapbook challenges b/c Friday and Saturday are such crazy days around here. I'm thrilled that I actually remembered to check the challenges and really look forward to playing with these awesome sources of inspiration!

What a wondeful challenge...inspiration-type challenges are really my favorite...because I can leech ideas off of people who make a whole lotta $ doing what they do well. I will definitely be joining in on this challenge after work and after I get an order of 20 cards made and in the mail.

that's not a stupid question, since this is kind of like a sketch challenge. but Sally will have her own challenge posted in a bit.
with this type of challenge you can take the layout if you want, but also the colors or style can be an inspiration.;) |

go to pagemaps.com; off to the left there is a list, click on card maps. I did 2 cards for her Becky's on-line newletter. I'm the only Peggy on there, so not hard to find.
You can sign up to get an e-mail when new maps are posted. I love her sketches! |

yes, the square one is Peaceful Wishes with last year's Holiday paper; the long one is BasicGrey paper, used the slit punch for the scallops and the sentiment was something I've had. Thanks so much! |
