I prefer to purchase mine pre-fab for convenience.

you can mix clear embossing powder with any sugar free item
(kool aid, baking cocoa, coffee etc). Anything with sugar will carmelize when you heat it.

Thanks everyone. I put in an order for it at Cornish Heritage Farms but I will also try the homemade stuf until it comes.

I bought some that smells just like a Christmas tree from Cornish Farms. Love it! Sandy in NH
