Default Holy cow! It's here already!

I came home from a football game today and thought someone had left a turkey on my front porch. When I got closer, I realized it wasn't a turkey, but a big ol' bunch of bubble wrap. Now you know where I'm going with this don't you? It was my ATG gun! Ordered Thursday! I wonder why they pack them that way? There has to be a reason. At least I got some free bubble wrap for sending holiday packages.

It took me a little while to figure out how to thread the gun, but I already used it to make a card and all I have to say it WOW! I think it made my card look better. Probably not, but I thought it looked all stuck down evenly. I just put together four layers of 80 Christmas cards last night. I didn't think it would be here till next week. Darn! It's definitely made for a right hander though. That's something that I didn't see in any posts. The tape is dispensed from the left side of the 714, so it's more of a challenge for the left hander. I'll get used to it!

I know! I'm not super left-handed so I use it in my right hand. I can see it better that way. It does take some getting used to -- but it's not a big problem anymore. You will LOVE it if you can use it in your right hand! At least I do!

Have fun & enjoy!

Would you keep us posted on how well you adjust to this as a lefty? I just went to my previous up-line's stamp camp today and there were quite a few gals who were using them and just raved about them. I was sold on it and thought for sure I'd get one, but this little detail worries me as I'm a true blue lefty.

TIA

Melissa,

I'm a "true lefty" too and it works just great! I would never ever part with my ATG. It takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it you will wonder how you ever lived with out it. That is definitely my one "can't live without" tool.

RockyMountainStamper & Pegmn,

Do you use it in your left hand? I tried that and never really got the hang of it. But it works for you -- that's great!

I guess it's probably because I've learned to use the computer mouse with my right hand. And I play piano -- so I'm used to doing things with my right hand.

Yep, I use it in my left hand. I use my right hand for my mouse too. Just takes a little getting used to I guess. Good Luck!

I use mine in my left hand. It just takes a few tries at first to see where the tape is coming out.
Good luck! I am sure you will love it!
