Default A Case for CASE-ING

I have been somewhat amazed by the number of women who have issues with CASE-ing projects and who to give credit to, etc. Imagine my surprise when I logged on today, started looking at the cards, and saw the card I was planning for my stamp club this Friday. I haven't even made it yet....and there it was! Perhaps others have the same great ideas as you, and have not CASEed your projects after all. Someone once told me that an idea must be great if more than one person has it. HMMMM......

I could be wrong, but I don't think most ppl here have a problem with CASE'ing - just with copying scanned photos and reposting them without permission and/or credit.

I don't think anyone has an issue with CASEing of cards/projects, the problems arise when someone saves the actual photo of the actual card and then uses said photo as a representation of their own original work.
Which is different than making a card to look somewhat or even exactly like someone elses. True CASEing is when you re-create a card/project. When someone takes a copy of the actual uplaoded photo and uses it in a possibly misleading way without giving any credit to the orginal artist, that is what seems to get everyones feathers ruffled. There is a difference and I think sometimes people get confused about the difference of an actual CASE and a copy of someones uploaded photo.

sorry for rambling but that is just my perspective on what has been discussed a lot on here. I admit I do copy ideas from this site, but I have never saved a photo of someones card and displayed it anywhere.

(just my dollars worth)

What does CASE stand for? I have deduced that it is like "scraplifting" in the scrapbooking world?
