It's not quite exactly the right sketch...but it's similar. For some reason, my brain just did not want to cooperate, and I couldn't come up with something I liked for this one. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow, I'll try again then. Here it is anyway...
Thanks AndreaSophie, I answered your PM and sent you my snail mail addy,,,, wow,,,, I was so surprised to win. There are so many great cards here and it is easy to comment. These gals make it so easy with their great work and their willingness to share. I have definitely felt like my cards have improved from all this exposure and everyday there is something new to see and learn. Thanks to you AndreaSophie for doing this challenge every week.

Love this layout. Hope this counts I cut the outer CS short but I like how it turned out. I did it while watching T.V. tonight, LOL. I have another one that I am still working on!
Hi! I just wanted to post that I love the sketch challenges. I haven't tried posting any of my cards yet (gotta figure that out) but I love to look at current and past sketches to jump start my creativity!
And I enjoy looking at everyone's submissions! Just wanted to thank everyone here! You are all so amazingly creative!
Here's my first one. I reall liked this layout, so I'll probably do a few more! I also found that this layout lended itself to this week's TLC so I did that with this one.

Thought I'd give this a try. I had a hard time finding exactly what I wanted, but this would do. The side pieces should have been more muted but I'm happy with the results. I may try another that I have in mind.
I managed to make one card for the sketch challenge and my daughter wanted to stamp so she made the 2nd one. Any encouraging comments for her would be wonderful.
I finally had time to both do the challenge AND post my card. This is a bit of a test, I'm not exactly sure how to paste the link......
This was a great challenge, fun, and just what I was looking for!!!
Thanks,
Lisa
Here is my card for the Sketch Challenge. I had a hard time finding something to coordinate with the little squares and then not be too big. You could turn this card and use it either way. I am considering using this for my Christmas card but not with the embossing. That is a lot of work when you have to make so many. Thanks for a fun challenge AndreaSophie
